The history of Dredge decks, or Dredge-like decks would be so cool. Manaless Dredge is a deck that I just cannot ever wrap my head around, so it'd be fun to find out more about how it got assembled by better minds within the competitive scene

Ramp is definitely my favorite archetype and would love to see a version of this video about that. Ramp is definitely one of the more diverse archetypes around as well. Eldrazi would cool for a tribe. Anybody who wasn't around during Eldrazi Winter that deck was so stacked im definitely sure it would still be top tier despite how much power Modern has now.

Worth noting that Extended and Legacy goblins decks also functioned as pseudo land destruction decks, with 4 Wasteland and 4 Rishadan Port, which could steal games against clunkier decks / manabases. One interesting spin on Goblins was the Legacy version that splashed white for Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. The idea being that quickly flooding the board with goblins, Thalia's taxing and the various land disruption could be enough to keep the opponent off balance or straight up locked out entirely, while your board of goblins ran them over. It was a bit of a flash in the pan though, although it did score some decent finishes at SCG events back in 2013 (I think). In terms of ideas for other decks, one could be blue-white control. Starting with The Deck and also covering Caw-Blade, Delver (this is more aggro-control, but still), Sphinx's Rev, Flash and finally Teferi, HoD. I'm sure there are others, but there's a lot just in the last 10 years.

This is a great idea to create its own series about. Having played Goblins throughout the years and seeing were I dropped off at should be interesting, if my current build is even on the list. This series' idea is so good that, when it popped up in my notifications I thought it was a follow-up to an older video, and not a brand new series. This format fits quite well into the purposes of this channel, and makes a powerful contribution to the informative aspect of the MTG Top 10s. I hope to see more, especially with my favorites tribes (wizards, hydras, soldiers and giants)

Love the idea. Would like to see necropotence and fires of yavimaya next. Would also like to ask - I like to see what cards are part of the deck, could you rotate more the specific cards on the video? - What are the win condition on these decks, like... what are the 2 or 3 cards one has to draw to swing a win? - Onde created, what happened to the deck after the next rotation of sets? Did it migrated do other category? New cards got in? Which ones? - Does the deck exists today? Does it have a spiritual sucessor?

I really like this idea for a series. One thing I like to do from time to time for a little blast from the past is get on xmage and play old decks that won high level tournaments in standard throughout the years. So hearing about them in this context is definitely enjoyable for me.

I had a casual izzet goblin deck way back when that focused on pinging everything to death. Was such a fun deck. Really enjoyed this and looking forward to more. I'd be interested in seeing a somewhat deeper discussion of the decks -- how they fared in their meta at the time, more focus on each card in the deck rather than just the key ones. There's a similar kind of brevity here as with your top 10s but this series seems like a opportunity to take a slightly different approach perhaps. One of the things I sometimes wonder about in the top 10s in the relevance of the "lesser" cards in the decks and I'd be into that kind of analysis here.

This is a very interesting idea for a series, I look forward to more of it! I’d love to see more tribes covered (slivers, elves, merfolk, Fae, etc.). I’d say vampires but I’m not certain the deck has much history to cover just yet (though I could be wrong.). I’d also love to see a history of some deck archetypes. I was thinking Reanimator may be interesting?

comment before watching this video: i played "goblins" with raging goblin, mogg fanatic, goblin war buggy in a rdw deck.. ball lightning as a finisher, goblin grenades for damage and ofcourse the usual burn package with lightning bolts... but that was when damage was still going on the stack to make more use out of the mogg fanatics.. gonna love this serie, same as i enjoyed your history of the b/r list.

@jamesgasik3424

More of these please! Something you will start to note in these videos is how much Onslaught changed Magic; before, sure, there were tribal payoffs, but Onslaught really kicked the concept of tribal decks into high gear. Nobody was running zombies until Onslaught, and then, it was like we couldn't get rid of them! I really like the lesser tribes, the ones that never quite made it, but I'm sure there isn't a lot of room in this series for Vedalken or Minotaurs. Dwarf Tribal was lackluster in Fallen Empires and only recently became viable. My vote for the next video is Spirit tribal, which I think only started with Kamigawa block.
