@@miikey_lol The main point of that statement was that being #1 isn't just as simple as being the "biggest farmer". people usually dismiss someone's #1 status because they "farmed to #1" but it's not just "farming to #1". So many capable people are trying this everyday so if you have that #1 status then you really are just better, as opposed to being a "better farmer" as some people like to argue. It happened to Mathi when he got #1 because he "farmed" but at the time he really was setting scores that were phenomenal, people just labeled him as a farmer and didn't credit him as much as he deserves. If Mrekk only barely sniped Whitecat for #1 instead of going on this rampage as he is now, then people would likely give him the same treatment.
@@snowio2592 Rank #1 means being the best farmer in the game, it's one of the hardest things to achieve in osu, but it doesn't NECESSARILY make the #1 ranked player the best OVERALL player. I'm not saying mrekk ISN'T the best player in the game. I think that can be up for discussion, but he isn't JUST the best farmer either. mrekk is ONE of the best current tournament players. He is going to surprise a lot of players in the osu community when they see how good he performs in OWC 2021, I can tell you that much.
His skill is so good that his hr skills surpassed the best hr players in the game. Just look at his the sun the moon the stars hr choke. If he actually fc's that will be one of the the best 1k's of the entire game.

No, its more of just a lack of research, it was obvious this video was rushed, the sponsor leads me to believe this was a money grab. I think more than half of his best scores werent even mentioned. But whitecat gets an hour video? Makes sense, this dude is just a whitecat fanboy

I remember when I closed mrekk's stream because I was bored but decided to come back 10 minutes later to see him in front of a team magma 3 mod SS score.
I think his most impressive play is his Magma 3 mod SS. Yeah, yeah, it’s a short farm Sotarks map, but it was an SS. On a 6 star with od 9.2 with no mod. With DT and HR.

But he isn't either of those things, I'd argue that Xootynator and Whitecat are better aimers than him and Vaxei, Whitecat and Merami are all faster players than him

When I said three players that are faster imo, I meant that Vaxei is faster than Mrekk in tech maps, Whitecat is faster than Mrekk aiming wise (just look at Flamewall or some shit) and Merami is obviously faster at streaming than any other player, xooty has got some good aim plays but now that I think bout it she probably ain't as good as mrekk
It's crazy just how much more inaccurate this video is than some of bruhmaster's other vids. Stuff he got wrong: A: Skipped over a bunch of stuff like his first 1.1K on Guess Who is Back 3 mod (Pre-rework), his 10 star fc, his ranked 10 star choke on Imagination, and his black rover 3 mod 2 miss. However he talked about all all these in other vids, so I'll give him a pass B: Vaxei choked Pirhana DT 2 months before Mrekk's fc, so idk how this is "Positively unmatched." Also, Piranha was originally worth 1K not 900 C: Mrekk's Euphorium play (Godkei) was after getting number 1, not before D: Mrekk got 20k pp after getting number 1, not before E: Mrekk's sotarks united FC wasn't even the first DT fc on the map, so idk how tf this is "one of the greatest speed scores" F: Bruhmaster showed a clip of Sotarks' united instead of Asphyxia's united G: Didn't even talk about his myriad of nutty 1 and 1.1Ks H: Didn't talk about 21K or 22K I: Didn't mention his Euphoria DTHD fc 1.2K and one of his best plays J: Didn't mention his 1.3K chokes on Neo aspect and Stella rium remix 3 mod Honestly with everything Mrekk has done I expect an osu! legends on him sometime in the future but idk
I joined the game in September 2020, it was always Whitecat #1 and mrekk #2. mrekk getting number 1 was probably my favourite osu! moment (because I was here!)
as someone who has only been playing for about a year, it's really cool seeing one of these videos and having actually been there when these things happened.
