Thank you Northwest Airlines! I am forever greatful to have worked for NWA... The airline that made it possible for everything I have today...... RED TILL I'M DEAD
Wow, the red till I'm dead part reminds me of when there was talk of the Canadian Airlines- Air Canada merger, the staff of Canadian (some not all) would say: "better dead than red" in refernce to the red air canada logo at the time.
Northwest was the airline that my parents and I flew on every year when we went on vacation back home. All the people, from the baggage attendants to the pilots, used to be so friendly! I remember my mom always said when you treat people right, that's the thing that everyone remembers!
I remember my first time ever seeing a 747. It was 2001 I was 7 years old and on my first flight, and after we landed there was a row of about 3 or 4 Northwest 747s parked on the ground at JFK. That's a sight I'll never forget.
My family flew to Hawaii twice in the early 70's from Seattle. 747's! Great service back then. Some might think that this was a Seattle-based airline, but it has always been a Minneapolis-based airline, and when Delta absorbed it, Delta immediately became a hub city for Minneapolis. (The Northwest connection to Minneapolis likely dates back to the days when that part of the country was still considered to be the Northwest!)
@@jameslindsey5244 No they are not, I work for Delta and I can assure you they're not as good to us employees as NWA was, don't let Delta's propaganda fool you, they are not as diverse as they claim to be, and we have no protection from a union of any sort, I myself and several of my colleagues have been belittled on numerous occasions by management.
@@jameslindsey5244, I no longer consider Sun Country a Minnesota airline after they did the unthinkable a couple years back. They canceled the tens of millions of frequent-flier points their loyal customers had earned over many years--miles that were never supposed to expire. Minnesotans don't do that to others!
Northwest Airline, from reservations to destination, superior quality service and spirit, domestic and international. Northwest welcomed you as a guest into the Northwest family. It was my first choice, go to and only airline.
