What is interesting is the song "My Friends" by red hot chilli peppers hasn't been played live since 1996 and it's a shame because it's one of my favorites.
they haven't played anything from one hot minute live because john wasn't comfortable with playing Navarros parts, they might now when Josh is in the band
It has something to do about his heroin addictions so He probably wants to forget about it the only song they have played from One hot Minute was Pea and Aeroplane
Craig Griffiths another reason why might have to do with the fact that they used to also heavily play this song live all the time mostly ALL with Hillel-Slovak with them! so between that! & the previous mentioned reply comment about it being mostly also played whilst several members of the band were on hard drug's((like Heroin, Cocaine, Speed, Strong-Potent-Hulucianetics, & so-on!-you-name-it!)) at around roughly that specific time period when they mostly played that song/tune! either LIVE! or-on Recordings! .i.d.k.! that's! really! just! basically! .i.m.h.o.! anyways! I may just be a teen girl who doesn't know crap about the world, but why choose those other fake bands? I just feel at home when listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They have been a part of my life ever since I was a baby so I couldn't really imagine my life without them. If you don't like rhcp, you don't like me XD
KaylaPumpkin , totally agree. I've been listening to bssm and Californication for as long as I can remember, and honestly, I don't know where I would be without them.
Red Hot Chili Peppers were one of the first rock bands I’ve ever listened to when I was like 6 or 7 and I love them so much and I still listen to them everyday whenever I get a chance❤️❤️❤️.
At 1:50, that isn't Hillel Slovak. It's Jack Sherman, the 2nd guitarist of many in the RCHP, but the one who played on the 1st album. And also the one ignored by the band and the Hall of Fame for their induction!
Damn Chili Pepper songs aren't all that distorted heavy and very rapid, but the fucking grooves make them so fun to play. make it Bass, Drums, or Guitars.
I don't know if I'm the first to point this out but when they talk about Hillel Slovak's death they show Jack Sherman who still is very much alive thank you very much.
And they don't even mention Jack Irons, Jack Sherman or Cliff Martinez, this video is fun for people who may only know two of their songs, but for an avid fan like myself, this is just a joke.

The clip (True Men Don't Kill Coyotes) used to mention Hillel was actually Jack Sherman. Hillel didn't appear on a RHCP album until Freaky Styley. Otherwise, a great video to make us hardcore fans proud

i think the opening scenes of the official "Otherside" music-video! are about/portrays River-Pheniox's death back in Oct.of.93' the male actor in the video laying down on the ground clutching hands on chest playing basically almost dead! (he)-kinda looks like River a-tad-bit! in a-way! or he atleast has a-couple simular features of River(atleast to me!)~&~also if they(.R.H.C.P. 's) did make it about River-Pheniox! They wouldn't have wanted to use an almost identical look-a-like type male actor to River-Pheniox! because! of many! various-reasons! like for an-example! or two! they wouldn't want to get possibly sued in anyway! or getting in trouble with his estate!~&~working out royalties cost's!~&~not trying to offend any family! or friends! or even any fan's! of the group/band! or River-Pheniox! but they still wanted to make atleast a part of it about him! without any woes! or troubles! so they made sure that they got an actor who'd look similar~&~slightly favour each-other but not enough! to stir-up any negativety! in any! sorta-way! .i.d.k. that's just my stupid pointless thoughts anyways! I saw them at Woodstock 99-one hell of a way to close out a festival! They handed out candles at the end-then all the a**holes started fires & riots. It's things like that which ruined concerts/festivals for me. A large group of dumbass sheeple who only want to get fuctup & f*** s*** up, just isn't my idea of a good time. RHCP are legends though, they've been at it for decades! I'm not a fan-I like a few songs, but they are the real deal-making music simply to rock and/or funk out! I like flea, he's a funny character just being himself! RocknRoll!
