The brushes were once part of the roller class, but have since moved on to becoming their own class. This video will look at the history of brushes, and how they moved to such an important position.
i beat it with only sub weapons, using both the burst bomb weapon and the splat bomb weapon. with burst bombs, it wasn’t too difficult, just mildly tedious. with splat bombs, it was mildly difficult, and tedious to the point of the tediousity(not a word) being difficult. it was incredibly easy with any of the main weapons
I was a brush main since the original's release in Splatoon 1. I migrated to Octobrush when that was released and I've stuck with it since. I love this class so much. I do wish we can finally get a new brush though, it's been 8 years since the Octobrush dropped and no new brushes have been released.
They could do one of those sponge-tipped brushes. Maybe when you swipe it does a slice of ink splash (like the splatana) but it's great for running/inking on the ground.
I mained the Vanilla Inkbrush in S1 and dabbled with it in S2. It's a really fun weapon that's for sure. Just being a persistent, annoyance to the other team was genuinely useful.
The fact that Brushes were considered Rollers still baffles me considering how they were the only weapons to change animations drastically compared to their base class, functioned very differently in how the general weapon worked from even Splatoon 1 and then in 2 they were basically entirely different due to Rollers getting the Verticle Swing.
You conpletly forgot to meantion the extremly competetiv splatoon 2 octobrush set with suction bomb and stamp. It is a meta definding wapeon many pro players like myself are using to great effect.
