Great video as always! I really like the editing,especially the animation for the evolution of the hieroglyphs/characters :^) Chinese writing system is so fascinating because of the distant resemblance with the objects/animals etc etc and i think it's cute.And the fun thing is that most of the hieroglyphs are rather complicated and then BOOM there's hieroglyphs for 1,2,3 which are..simple sticks (truly,the beauty is in simplicity)

If you want to know about chinese input systems that are qwerty compatible but do not use phonetics, try reading about Wubi or Cangjie. Unfortunately to call these systems "pretty hard" is an understatement ... which is why pinyin is king now* *Cangjie is still used extensively in Hong Kong, but people struggle with it a lot
