The History of the Hoppings 

I’m 47 now and when I was a child it always rained when the hoppings were in town!

The Hoppings were originally in Jesmond Vale , near Vale house

Gosh, I'd never heard of this, although I spent my childhood in Doncaster (not very close, I admit). We have the same funfair every year in Munich, where one has no difficulty in enjoying the odd jar or two of beer on the side.

That was interesting Jordan - you learn something new everyday!

Mate Dusseldorf, Herne, Tilburg, Munchen are way bigger than that

the baskets were great , its lost its charm now, bring back steam, old school hand made hand painted, its just all about money since the 70s
