Did you know that the oldest building in Montebello was built in 1845? The Juan Matias Sanchez Adobe is home to the Montebello Historical Society and a yearly reenactment of a pivotal battle during the Mexican-American War.
I would like to thank the Board of Directors of the Montebello Historical Society for being so gracious with their time: Chris Vargas, President. Kathleen Rabago, 2nd Vice President. Carolina Ibarra-Mendoza, Publicity and Design.
The Juan Matias Sanchez Adobe is open every Saturday from 12-3PM.
