I’ll never forget the super Mario sluggers trailer for the wii. Where the kids are talking through pitches and hits in class and the teacher steps in telling them a certain move won’t work. Iconic

The trailers that will absolutely, always touch me, are for sure the Halo 3 ads. Any of the Bungie halo marketing. Halo changed my life literally. The religious tones also probably help solidify it as a pillar of my growing up lol. They still touch me.

Halo just had aboslutely insane amounts of budget to make some of the best pieces of marketing and by god did they use it, its so awesome watching a lot of them because i cant think of a single other game doing anything like it, imagine what it was like being one of the people to hold a real life spiker or m90 shotgun, that must of felt so cool

Honestly video game commercials are a small thing i missed growing up. But i did see a few, i don't remember them, but hte one i do know. Is of a call of duty BO3 or 2. And seeing really cool zombie shootin :D

OH MY GOD THE FUCKING FUSHIGI BALL holy shit they were so dumb, I had a large and small one as a kid. the only thing i ever did with it was drop because they were bizarrely heavy and made a fun thud when they hit the ground. it landed on my toes quite a few times.

Not to sound like an absolute poopy diaper baby but the Skylanders commercials will always be special to me - I was an autistic little Spyro superfan and when they "ressurected" the Spyro franchise with Skylanders of course I was shitting my pants.
