I think she's my favorite Lauren I've seen. She added so much humor into this song, which is saying something because the song already has lots of humor built in. But she managed to find pockets to add her own flair on and punched it up even higher. That's the mark of a brilliant performer.
Annaleigh Ashford is hilarious & a lot of the other "Laurens" emulate her performance while stile making it their own This song is such a great opportunity for actresses to shine. I've seen these videos so many times & they never get old.
jillnorman that accent is bloody awful. Us Northampton folk don’t sound anything like that. Also what on earth is Charlie’s accent it’s like what? Kinda Irish kinda Scottish I’m what?
As a British person it sounds weird but the production was made for a primarily American audience and to an American ear it should sound OK correct me if I'm wrong
@@evacornell1031 I'm American and it sounds like the British voices I try out while reading Harry Potter to my kid (so...not good. It's a bad accent.) 🤣
Lauren Rating: 1. Tiffany (Histerical) 2. Lindsay (Awesome voice) 3. Anneleigh (Played the character too much like Glinda compared to the other two actresses)
What I'm learning is that you can have a good Lauren accent or a good Charlie accent, but you can't have both lol. Seriously though this Lauren >>>>>> everyone else I've seen in the role. P.s. Is it just me or does she look like Kristen Bell during the first "Charlie...honestly..."?
@@thedusty194 Honestly, this cast for the recording is the best everything. And see how her comedic timing is so different and more benefitial to the song. Natalie was perfect.
@@Blurrei No it wasn't. It's a musical too, so she needs to focus s little more on technique. She wasn't as good a singer. The other Lauren was an amazing singer and very funny
she alright...she keeps going flat every time she say...."i been hurt like this (BEFORE)". she's so caught in the comedic aspect of things, she forgot all about the singing.
This is like a teaser for "Friends the Musical" in which Janice professes her love for Chandler Bing. I swear I can hear Oh My God MeeeHeeeehhhheeeehheeee...!!!
I have to say Annaleigh’s performance better! Hers was more understated than Tiffany’s. A bit more subtle, maybe it’s just because I like more subtle acting lol.
Inaccurate Northampton accents- apparently, they were originally coached to do an accurate Northampton accent but the creators were unable to understand what they were singing and saying.
