you nailed it James, it really was unlike anything else. I attended the New York virtual show (night #2) and had to go ahead and buy tix immediately to all the other ones. I remember watching one before work at 8 in the morning, it was glorious.
Yeah! I REALLY loved the fact that the one camera brought the viewer smack dab in the middle of the action -just like you were on the stage yourself. It was so very good an idea!
The thing that sucks about this, is that I just found out/discovered these guys last month. I'm 56 and pissed off I never heard about them before and missed all the cool stuff that they have done live. It also doesn't help I live in the southern US which isn't the first place most bands won't play.
I think it might be that the melodic nature of Swedish accents and some Irish accents are similar. Both have nice rhythms, kind of up-and-down, not sure if rhythm is the right word to use.
