A great fantasy classic by J.R.R. Tolkien and the prelude to "The Lord of the Rings," our protagonist Bilbo Baggins is a Hobbit who enjoys a quiet and comfortable life, never traveling any farther than his own kitchen. But his contentment is disturbed when the Wizard Gandalf and a company of Dwarves arrive at his Hobbit home one day to take him away on an adventure. They have launched a plot to attack the treasure guarded by Smaug the Magnificent, a large and very dangerous dragon. Bilbo reluctantly joins their quest, not knowing that on his journey to the Lonely Mountain he will encounter both a magic ring and a frightening creature known as Gollum.

I literally could not ask for anything more than a simple expression of appreciation, especially if your English is at a higher level than this book. You are at a level where you can begin reading original works in English - The Hobbit would be easy and difficult at the same time, as there are many words that are used that are more archaic. But regardless, I appreciate your taking a moment of your time to leave a comment. Josh

The best story for me and my wife is the Hobbit by Tolkien. We are reading this original book together. It is very very hard. We are doing it about 1 year but it is interesting. I have low english level she has bester. She is helping me. Once she rejected help to me because she was busy. Then i found you in youtube. Hobbit by JOSHUA CASHILL is ... this sound this map and your voice are amazing Unfortunately other people liked more Hary Poter and I dont have choice :) I am watching it. Hary also well but maybe you will try to continue this tale Lord of the Rings (I am sorry for my errors)

Hi, Renato! I plan to have content for ALL levels of students, eventually! I have only been producing content for about a year and a half, but I took a poll (ibop) from the people who watch my channel, and the VAST majority of them, about 80% are beginner students, about 15% are intermediate, and the final 5% advanced. So, for the time being, I will be focusing more on beginner to pre-intermediate level content. If I could make a suggestion, if you plan on watching some of my guided reading, increase the speed to 1.25x while you are listening - that will make it sound a little more natural and make listening comprehension a little more challenging for intermediate-level students. If you have any suggestions, by the way, for more intermediate content, please let me know! - Josh

Hi, Henrique! Yes, this whole version in English is different than the original - so the translation in Portuguese will be different than the original too. Eu editei o livro em inglês para ser mais acessível para quem está começando a estudar inglês. Não é para iniciantes do zero, mas é bem mais apropriado para quem já tem uma base.
