I've been waiting to vid 'The Hobbit' for such a long time...and here we are! It was supposed to be a short fanvid and it has come out as a kind of synopsis of the full movie. I wanted to focus on Bilbo's memories of his journey and his companions, but it actually involves also a bit of Bagginshield (Thorin/Bilbo).

Awww, thank you so much for your lovely comment! "The Hobbit" always leaves me with a deep sense of longing and I love how Bilbo's dwelling on the past has been depicted in the movie. Mine is a tribute to Bilbo's adventure from an emotional point of view - to the way the little hobbit has been changed forever through his friendship with the dwarves.

Awww, you're so kind and I'm so grateful for your comment! I fell in love with Tolkien's Middle Earth so many years ago and I love Peter Jackson's adaptations: after watching 'The Hobbit' I was compelled to create something and I wanted it focused on Bilbo's memories of his adventure. The Thorin/Bilbo has come to the surface without too much effort on my part: I have just let my after-movie feelings flow...

What an amazingly inspiring video! The scenes go so well with the music. I love that you included Bilbo vs. Gollum; very powerful! And I love that the Bagginshield just emerges naturally with no need for special effort. The song is beautiful and so fitting for Bilbo’s experience! Thank you for this wonderful trip 🙂🙂

This is the most beautiful Hobbit tribute I have ever seen! Amazingly chosen clips fit the tone of the lovely song, and I love how you told the story in a melancholy and meaningful way. The Thorin/Bilbo was subtly beautiful (just like in the movie!) and a definite favorite part of the video. Wow I could gush on this forever! Definitely re-watching often... :)

...::::::::L-O-V-E--I-T!::::::::::... Excellent music choice; It's my first time listening to this song and it got my heart, it fits perfectly with The Hobbit story line and the video is just amazing. 4 me this video gets 10/10.

Oh, I'm so glad you like it! "Movie in a nutshell" is a very nice way to say it - I just couldn't keep myself from using those beautiful scenes...and the song is beautiful and delicate, I was dying to use it in a fanvid. Thank you so much for your comment!

Such a beautiful, beautiful fanvid. The music matches the clips so well as many have already said and the editing is wonderful! I love how the song demonstrates Bilbo's sadness of not being with his old friends any more, and the only time's he'll see them all again is in his memories and dreams. A truly inspiring tribute, I love how you've shown the relationship between Bilbo and Thorin as well as the other characters. Just like Charlie Pal said, 'the movie in a nutshell' Awesome upload!

Found this awhile ago on my other account... I NEEDED it to fav this vid on this account so I can play it on repeat whenever I please. >u>" I first found this when I was on a Hobbit rampage and I clicked this and fell in love. This is, in my opinion, the best Hobbit vid I have ever came across! The music is perfect and the video itself was beautifully done~!
