The Holiday | 2021 Feature Film 

Thankyou to everyone watching’The Holiday’ I’m going to make short video to explain how I made the film 🎥 soon in more detail 💫 Because of my dyslexia writing a script from start to finish would take me absolutely ages. However being dyslexic is also my ‘Superpower’ I first went into meditation and asked to be shown what I would be making film wise. I was shown what happened in the middle of the film which made me laugh and then shared with my producer and editor to ask what they thought? They loved it so I then created scenes that would follow on from there to the end of the film and then created scenes from the start up to the middle. This formulated my story arc. Then we casted the actors via skype. My technique to find out how quick their improvisation was, I asked them to sit back in the chairs and act out as a washing machine going through a cycle. The ones chosen were then told they would be playing a mum, dad, brother or sister and would name themselves and write a short bio about themselves so they knew who they were once filming commenced. We all met in a local hotel for the first time and we put them into their families and gave them ten minutes to come up with a family bio. Then it was off to the air B&B for their first real reactions. From then on, it was one or two takes to capture those real reactions! No actor was allowed to talk about any scenes they were in to keep the suspense going. I also had a secret diary room where the actors would come and see me one by one before shooting so I could tell them how I wanted them to be and what emotional state to be in. I also sometimes gave them a secret about themselves to enhance their character more and to tie in with the story arc. I also wanted to dedicate this film to Tina Jones ❤️ who played Sandy, and sadly passed away in 2022✨💫

Loved watching this had a bit of everything in it Tina who played Sandy will be missed every day always in our hearts 💕❤️

What a sad movie...the whole bunch of them...I feel sorry for the children...
