ENOMA stands for 'Easygoing Native Outsiders Making Assessments'.
We are an Indian couple residing in Mumbai. We create first-time, single take & honest reactions.
We serve soulful, deep, insightful and pure reactions on a regular basis. Sometimes, the rest of the family joins us too.
Savio and me are two counselors, teachers & stay-at-home parents who enjoy listening to music for the first time.
We listen to music like it should be listened to. Without pausing the songs while we listen to them.
We seek to understand a song's true meaning. We love listening to music that adds value to our lives.
We often venture deep into the heart of a song to share an educated assessment on it.
Our post-reaction analysis is based on our educational background, life experiences, and rich culture.
As counselors, we are keen listeners. Savio is excellent at analyzing lyrics. People say I have good listening skills.
As a result, viewers get to watch good reactions on ENOMA every time.
We love reacting to music from all over the world. And of different genres and styles.
It can be easily seen in the 1500+ reactions we've already created on Enoma.
We are honest in our reviews. If we like a song, we say it. And if we didn't like it, we will say so.
Our channel has the official name 'CAFE ENOMA'. We started posting videos on 12th May, 2018.
We hit 1K subscribers on 1st July, 2018. 5K on 10th December, 2018. 10K on 24th March, 2019. 15K on 15th June, 2019.

I've always loved the Hollies and this song in particular. I like songs that tell a story, but what really made this was the wonderful harmonies. It reminds me of the 60s when I first heard it. Nostalgia strikes!

I love the Hollies. I was a teenager in the 60's, so this is the sort of band i was brought up with. Its great. Will you some day react to " Summer In The City " by The Loving Spoonful?

Great great sixties song, featuring wonderful vocals Allan Clarke and harmonies of Graham Nash (later with Crosby Stills and Nash) and written by Graham Gouldman (of 10CC fame). Maybe you should hear King Midas in Reverse, also by them. Brilliant pop song from 1967 (but only a minor hit the charts in UK).

I always thought that was an interresting idea, that the umbrella was what got them started talking on a raining day, then as the summer goes on, they keep on using it even on sunny days, just to have a reason to stand close and chat, with others going 😕.

Hollies were definitely underrated! Allan Clarke was a phenomenal vocalist with Grahm Nash harmonies (later Terry Sylvester) . Tony's great guitar licks and Bobby's drumming!!!! I listen to them almost daily. Such a shame Allan's voice changed in the 90s and he retired gracefully. Actually Allan has a new record and sings great, just a lower register, more of a baritone sound than his earlier tenor voice. Love these guys!!!!!

I do appreciate how you two add your experiences to the reaction; it brings the song to life;) The Hollies have a rich history - the singer of this one formed the group 10CC & wrote many hits from this era for other bands, Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills & Nash was also in The Hollies. Their catalog goes from pop to hard rock like 'Long, Cool Woman in a Black Dress' !!

Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young was in this band. Like others have mentioned, their other hit song, "Long Cool Woman In a Black Dress", is more of a rock song.

This is a typical song penned by Graham Gouldman in a minor key expertly performed by The Hollies in 1966.Another song by him is also covered by this Group...Look Through Any Window...well worth checking out! He also wrote at least three numbers for another Manchester band...Herman’s Hermits...No Milk Today, Listen People...and?? something else !

Graham Gouldman wrote this (and No Milk Today, and others) as a young boy. He later was a member of 10CC with many hits.

You are lucky, you have just discovered the most prolific group ever. Hundreds of songs and multiple Number one hits. Try listening to Allan Clarke [ lead singer ] singing "Don't let me down."

I have no idea how the concept that you're "supposed to be Promoters of Music" swept in, but I am glad that you see it as a false idea. What you bring to a song is your enjoyment of it, if that is the case, and then how you relate to it in your experience, and so those of us in North America, for instance, can learn what things are like where you live or have lived and what your lives have been like...This channel is unique and I appreciate all the work that you do to present it daily, and handle the obstacles of playing the music and how you organize your site, plus your professional experience. There is not another site like yours. Oh, and as to reviews, when I was in theatre class in college, the worst thing you could hear was someone say: "It didn't work for me." What kind of a reaction is that? It tells you nothing about what you need to work on. WHY didn't it "work" for them? So it's much more than a simple "I liked it." or " I didn't like it."

'The air that I Breathe' is very good by the Hollies. I think Radiohead's 'Creep' uses the same chord progression...even though there's controversy surrounding that idea.

The Hollies were true greats. Everything was so new then, that it took a little while longer for most groups to be considered great... it simply was not a big priority to rock lovers at the time. They were all great. After a while, some bands rose above the clatter, but a lot of true talent had already peeked by then and as a result, never made it in the social memory. It's a pretty random thing to achieve true greatness... but this band could easily have been more famous.
