In this distinguished lecture based on his recent book, Professor Dan Stone (Royal Holloway, University of London, UK) discusses prevalent misconceptions about the history of the Holocaust, such as the assumption that the event concerns only "German" and "Jews." Shedding light on the role of non-German actors and the vast scale of state-led and individual collaboration across the continent, among other topics, Professor Stone deepens our understanding and challenges the notion that the Holocaust "ended" in 1945.
