Flies that may compete for this stature, such as the gold cascade, are essentially based on this deadly colour scheme. It really is a universal fly that can be fished in any water in any condition.
Here I tie a small size 12 version, that I will most likely tie on as a dropper. The fly can be tied on large or small hooks, as well as on a range of tube tubes types and Waddington shanks.
