17:26 I was thinking the benefit to picking the buildings is if you atleast choose the first level of the building. Then your vassals are locked into upgrading that and won’t put something there that benefits just them instead of the realm. Placing it at the borders of your country where development spread is the weakest due to distance from capital and placing them in the vassals capital . Being an emperor is just herding a bunch of angry cats

RE: Konstantine - you should definitely *not* make her your heir (unless you want the challenge) because despite her being your granddaughter she's *not* of your dynasty. You'd lose most of your titles that way (right now the game would probably calculate your player heir as the count of Perm from Partition after succession, or else it would go to some other dynast if you get the duchy and make it elective.) It would be interesting to see her lineage, though, as I'm not sure exactly why she's *not* your dynasty (since she's a bastard, guessing her father was revealed rather than unknown and she has her father's dynasty; possibly you might have been able to legitimize her if you'd noticed her earlier and it was only revealed sometime after her birth.) Normally the game gives you nag warnings if your primary title will be inherited out of your dynasty; keep an eye out for that. RE: Travel Speed cap - I don't know if there's any kind of diminishing returns or internal practical cap for the calculation, but the travel speed *numbers* can definitely go higher than 300%. My last game was with Princes of Darkness mod, and as an immortal vampire with immortal vampire caravan master, you can stack some extreme buffs. I think my travel speed was around 400% near when I stopped. RE: Rotating in commanders for Crusader (or equivalent) trait - If you want to keep a doom stack, you just want to appoint yourself *last* to avoid the "fled the field" event. I don't think unappointing non-ruler commanders will remove the trait once given, as I usually cycle through as many as I can and I've never seen that happen (though getting it to apply in the first place can be fiddly.) In a Crusade/GHW that's a foregone conclusion, I suggest appointing your heir and spare, important other dynasts and vassals, and then finally yourself, pushing yourself forward in the queue depending on how quickly the war looks to be wrapping up (unless you're old or otherwise on the way out in which case just focus on getting it for as many as you can in your realm.) Of course, you might have different priorities for opponents that present a challenge, or just don't want to bother with the micro.
