It's not the worst. But it certainly isn't as good as a full swap. The worst would be trying different keys with different switches. Imagine a test which used space bar, F, backspace, shift, ctrl, and enter. Potentially all different shapes and multiple stabilizer sizes. I think for a video that isn't too time-intensive, using just the F key is a respectable method of control. It's more scientific than most other methods. That said, hand position changed during this test, which caused a different sound and introduced a variable that should either not be included, or should be included for each switch.
Visually it looked to me like the Glorious wobbled the least but I think I'm a little biased. I haven't tried the Fekker, based upon this review when I watched it the first time some months ago but Drop vs Glorious I sprung for the lubed Glorious because I didn't want to lube all of them and it's become my favorite switch over the past few months and have them in both of my primary keyboards. Of course this is 2 years after your review so a lot could have changed in production quality during that time. I love how much detail you put into this, it popped up again tonight so I wanted to make sure I liked and commented. Thanks for the great review, intentionally or not it helped me find my favorite switch, at least for now right?
3:34 how is this "really tight"? I own both feker and holy panda switches, and as far as I can tell from this video they are pretty much identical in terms of housing wobbling
80% of the quality in this hobby is just smoke. I paid 100€ for the og holy pandas, and 3 months later 10 of them are malfunctioning, same story for the Glorious pandas, well, these lasted 6 months instead of 3... quality up there with the fekker pandas.
I love the holy panda clack but 3 pin on a mill maxed pcb with flex cuts is a huge no go. The flexyness of the pcb and lack of stability missing 2 pins means I keep getting keys not firing because they lift off the pcb during normal use. Very lame and waste of $80. Gotta spend more to make a 5 pin type now
We don’t need 100 presses at the same rate and pressure. After 5 it is useless and a waste of time. Press each five times at varying speed and pressure. Make a controlle press mechanism and show the audio in a graph to give us useful data.
@@PaperAcrobat that is why I immediately commented when I heard you mention the price of the switches. Hopefully others will also be aware that it is seriously overpriced on Amazon
