The major doctrinal error in the church today concerning the trinity is that the Holy Spirit is a separate person. It is NOT and Satan is deceiving many believers. Consider this .. the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary and she conceived Jesus. If the HS was a separate person/ entity , then the HS would be the Father and not God the Father. That would also make Jesus a liar. Jesus said I and the Father are one. Where do you see the Holy Spirit in that? That’s because the HS is the power of God that proceeds from the Father.

Speaking in tongues first happens as the result of the Holy Spirit baptism. This occurs after repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. You must pray fervently for the Lord to fill you with the Holy Spirit until He answers your prayer and does so. Then you musy dmsurrender the one member we can not tame without the Holy Spirits' help. I just opened my mouth and started relaxing my tongue. You keep doing it until the Holy Spirit gives you the ability to speak in tongues.

Yes churches are praying.

There is no "method " taught by Jesus nor any of the inspired writers in the New Testament for speaking in tongues. The miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit ended in the 1st century. Do not be deceived by false teachers such as Richard Robert's, Binny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Oral Roberts and so on. Richard Roberts is teaching false doctrine that the inspired Apostles NEVER taught.

@@MillerMinistries Generally speaking. A lot of people claim that there is so much power in speaking, or praying in tongues. I personally have not found that to be so…. For me. Just that it is a help when you don’t know what to pray. That’s about all. If there are miracles and other manifestations I am missing. Maybe some day I will find it.

The only miracles biblically speaking are when others hear the word of God in their own native language. Otherwise people should hush about it

God knows the difference. Anything that God has or does, the devil will have a counterfeit. Christian ministers are human and can miss it. There is real power and benefit to speaking in tongues from the Holy Spirit. Your experience is simply confirmation that the devil has a counterfeit.

@@MillerMinistries Hindus and Vodu and many others in Africa and the Indians here in the US have and still can speak in unknown tongues. I still can right now. I was even told to laugh in tongues by the holy ghost bartender in Florida. We all did it together, out of order, not by 2 or 3 at most and no interpreter was ever offered. Some barked and howled on the mic too.
