In a talk from The Coming Home Network's 2011 Deep in History conference, noted author and scholar Dr. Scott Hahn examines the proper role of tradition in the life of the Church. He looks at the misconceptions some Christians have about the Catholic understanding of tradition, and argues that if the Holy Spirit has been at work in every age of the Church, then knowing that legacy of providence is crucial to understanding how God works in His people today.

We are truly indebted to the Holy Spirit for bringing Dr. Scott Hahn to the Roman Catholic Church! Dr. Hahn shows us "cradle Catholics" the greatness of the Church. Thanks be to God! Praise be the Lord Jesus Christ! Thank you for sending your truly inspired servant, Dr. Hahn, to inspire us to be better Catholics. HC-JAIPUR PS: I'm writing this almost a year after the vid was posted. I wonder why there are so few comments. It's Aug 2018 and all heck has broken loose, what with all the cover-ups of the cover-ups!

I agree. This is the 1st time I heard this. Although I heard Dr. Scott Hahn speak at a Boston's Men's Conference years ago. What a mind, and what great faith. He is truly a blessing to the Church. A Blessing to all Christians. I hope someday soon we will all unite. Praise be to God forever.

Amen Hilton! I've been searching for a comment on the scandals from Dr. Hahn. His testimony helped my husband and I become Catholics. Also the sharing and writing and leadership of John Michael Talbot, who has commented strongly on the scandals. I'll keep searching...Thank God He is, through the Holy Spirit, exposing the sin and faithlessness of some in the hierarchy. My hope is in God alone! May we pray.

A true example why strong protestants became catholics! The reason is that the Church that was built on Peter has been leading the true Christians to the fullness of their faith....To God be the Glory!!!

Doesn't have to, because it's God's chosing who he gives this gift, however many are faking speaking in tongues today...be very careful and besides the speaking in tongues then was in languages not spoken by the apostles before but when they did people who spoke these languages got to understand what they said,

Umm a little simple and a tiny bit vague and everything is Jesus, as no one is arguing any differently... as the Holy Spirit and God the father. But just as each piece to any/every existence of absolutely everything. However they have specialities and I can speak from my experience is that by becoming and praying to learn and love. I have received in multifold everyday absolutely my faith helped me Be open and aware. In the knowledge that God's will have given me. Everything I pray for I'm so grateful. The promises are real. I'm going to show love Israel. I want to know the who is. I will always pair for use me. LOL me to communicate to others. NBA, the gift of tongues. Without? Meeting obvious connection or the latest phone call. Jesus Holy Spirit already. I don't set up, I know yet you what's believe. Trier past NB really tell love. Everyone hurts, especially when you're hurts 'cause. Then you can love more which may hurt a little more. I love him you're self other I know. We try to be lost your version. Saint Joseph, especially for me. You have nothing to lose, I know. We haven't on Earth today. Hey man frozen sisters hey man

⭕⭕⭕ I'm a Catholic. I agree that Mary needed a Redeemer. She was saved from sin before she gave birth to Jesus. Totally I agree with this doctrine. But seriously, you don't have to make her sinless. She's human after all. If she doesn't commit any sin, she should be superhuman. We say Jesus is human. What about Mary ? Why do we make her superhuman ? Committing sins does in no way downplay her Holiness (saints for example). What is wrong if she committed sin ? What is wrong if she had children with Joseph ? On the other hand, when we make her sinless, we are only treating her on par with Jesus. She doesn't have to be totally sinless in order to pray for us. Why then does the Catholic Church force this upon us.?

if you agree that She was saved from sin before she gave birth to Jesus. why did God let her sin after she gave birth to Jesus?? do you know that Gabriel call her Full of grace?? because she full of grace that's why she didn't sin
@The_Searching_Sanchari
@The_Searching_Sanchari 5 лет назад
@@jambar8285 It is not God letting her sin. He saved her from sin in order that she may have birth to Jesus. But after giving birth, her mission and vocation are complete. So that fullness of Grace doesn't mean she didn't sin. Nowhere in the Bible too it is said that Mary is sinless. In fact Mary is sinful like any of the saints but lived a holy Life. It would be no sin to call Mary a human being like any of us. It would on the other hand make her a goddess to call her Co redemptrix and sinless
@jambar8285

@@The_Searching_Sanchari there's no reason for god let her to do sin and there's no reason for mary to do sin mary knew that herself choosed by God although she didn't knew what happen next, she have free will, she can do sin,but she choose didn't sin and she give herself full to God luke 1 : 38 mary said "behold i am the handmaid of the Lord, let it be to me according to your word "

@@The_Searching_Sanchari Her mission and vocation are complete. ??? All Prophets spend all his life to do God mission, until they died, isn't it? Why not on His Mother, who He love the most. I If you threw out your spouse, your children out of your house your life, when you are done with them? His Mother done the mission, so Jesus done with Her like that? and turn around to love the whole world ???

Sad to see you teaching a false gospel, you have truly been blinded by the cult you are committed to. You use biblical language, yes, but it is meaningless. It sad for your family, two sons who are priest because of your commitment to that cult. I got married in a beautiful Abby. The Abbott in one of our coffee talks, when I commented on the great life he had. He smiled and said what you don't see is I have 27 young priest and every one an alcoholic. When I asked why, he explained; what they don't realize is we are made for companion ship, for most it's an impossible commitment.

The dogmatic mind set of roman Catholicism. They worship the mother of God,yet does the Jewish teach such ideas. Does God have a mother??? Consider Adam he had no human father or mother,who was his father& mother then??? In Bible God himself uses these terms as Israel father and a mother.
