My very abbreviated testimony: I came from a background of the occult, new age, buddhism, witchcraft, astrology, divination etc. In 2003 I was also initiated into Santeria in Havana, Cuba. The next 2 years my health went downhill to the point where I could barely get through an ordinary day. I had all the symptoms of CFS. One night late in 2005 I hit rock bottom in my life, I got on my knees and prayed to God. 2 weeks later I heard the audible voice of God speak to me loudly and clearly. The Lord simply said, "If you go further, God will go further with you." (notice the Lord said, "IF you go further... " It was still my choice to accept His salvation.) So I decided to work with intercessors from a church and I gave my life to Jesus Christ and repented of all my sins. Two months later, early one Sabbath morning, to my complete surprise, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit where Jesus allowed me to be in His Holy Presence for a very short time (3 or 4 seconds). I was struck by an unbelievably bright light which was also like a wind. I felt His Spirit go through my spirit, soul and body. I have never been the same since that day and Jesus Christ healed me of all CFS symptoms. Jesus also put the desire in me to read every word of the Bible - from Genesis to Revelation. A practice which I continue to do to this day, from beginning to end. It was only 8 years later in 2014 after praying about tongues, I received the gift of tongues at 2am one night. Thank you Curry. We currently go to a Pentecostal Service as the churches around us just are not following what the Bible teaches. My husband is all in with the Pentecostals but I’ve never felt fully comfortable, I’ve seen and felt there are new age nuances and other things going on there that leave me feeling unsettled. Amen. God is restoring righteous judgments in holiness. Holiness is having no other… In loving God, we have all the fruits and gifts from His Spirit. If we have His Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, fear, and revelation of Christ, we have everything from God to minister to anyone, about anything, at any time. GLORY TO GOD!
Use your tongue just making noises as you praise God. Then it will flow and it will be your own language. You can’t imitate tongues very long with your mind. You will know when the spirit takes over
These people are so right. In the 1982 we prayed for tongues and praised the LORD for two full hours before someone explained that -no it was not me faking it and that yes I did have to move my lips and tongue. It did come naturally by the Holy Spirit of God much sooner but I thought I was doing it myself and I did not want to dishonor God by making anything up and I only got syllables where my husband got his full language. When we got home he explained to me that some people got it more fully or more simply -like baby talk-and the more I practiced it while driving or walking or working the more full the prayer language would become. So I began to pray in tongues every chance I thought of it. What I did not realize was that God knew what was coming and fully intended to build such a habit in me that I would naturally pray in tongues through many hardships and he kept us connected thru everything. So do not fear if it sounds funny. What I wish people would have said back then was,”Yes you are surrendering your tongue and your voice to God just like we surrender in baptism or regular prayer or in obedience in every other way. It is us letting God use our bodies minds hearts hands and voices to do his Will on this earth as it is in Heaven. And so we are allowing the Holy Spirit of God to pray through us on earth The Exact Perfect Will of God thru us so He Can Answer His Own Will. So actually it is serving God to submit whatever syllable you get and trust that God knows the meaning and purpose of the language he is creating in you for His purpose. Be blessed and Flourish.

When i received it i felt something spiritual going up from my lower stomach part and then ive opened my mouth and Ive started and then something took over and afrerwards i felt something in my import stomach part for about 3 days and today i know this was the Holy Spirit

I was keen to learn more about the baptism of the Holy Spirit because although I believe myself to have been baptised in the Holy Spirit I could do with some clarity to doublecheck that it was a genuine baptism. I thought I was going to hear about that in the message but it seemed that after about a third of the message the subject went off in a different direction which although helpful didn’t really pertain to the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Would welcome your teaching on this
Brother Curry I've always been against like you say priming the person to speak in tongues. Thank God for your being honest. The Holy Spirit can move your tongue .
Speaking in tongues is the only initial evidence given , in scripture, that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit when they recieved ( Acts ch.2,10,and ch.19).
In the book of Acts each time a person or persons when the Holy Spirit fell on them they spoke in tongues . We think thats the initial evidence . But it is an evidence . If your are baptized in the Holy spirit you will speak in an unknown tongue, a prayer language. But you can also operate in any of the spiritual gifts . But most of all you will have Power to be a witness , power over sin , power over the devil , you will have self control , and you will be bold !
Please people explain does it mean then, if you have been baptised with Holy Spirit, u talk tongues, if you dont speak tongues, you are not actually filled?
The belief of tongues being the evidence of the spirit causes people to do fake tongues, and demonic tongues to come in. There is already a scripture that identifies how u know someone who has received the spirit, "No one who is born of God practices sin." 1 John 3:9 If u are born again u will not practice, have a desire to continually sin like ur old man. And it also says, "You will know them by their fruits." Matt 7:16 If their heart is still for sin u will know despite their "tongues" they are not born again. Believers struggle with sins after becoming born again because they need to renew their mind, but their desire isn't to practice sin anymore And like brother Curry says there is nothing in the bible that says tongues is the evidence of the spirit
I agree. Of all the people I've encountered I've only met one person who had a "demonic tongue" and it was because she let some guy from central America, whom I believe was secretly into santeria, lay hands on her. The rest I've seen were just doing it in the flesh. Of course there's all kinds of voodoo and witchcraft that comes with false tongues, but I haven't come across too much of that.
"They spoke with tongues AS the Spirit gave them utterance." That's how we know it is the sign and evidence of the infilling of the Spirit. Don't fake it but DO speak in tongues as the Spirit gives you utterance. Scripture does describe this multiple accounts.

God knows whether the want to come back alive in the flesh to earth, or the dead person needs to come back because God has further reasons or purposes to fulfill. God has a unique agenda for everyone on earth. Jesus is building His Kingdom on this earth, so He has the final decision.
Who is the Holy Spirit? But the first big question is WHO IS INSIDE JESUS ? Well, we are absolutely sure that THE FATHER IS INSIDE JESUS AND LEADS HIM VERY TIGHTLY when speaking and acting : (1) "Truly, truly I say to you, THE SON IS NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING of himself,45 but ONLY WHAT HE SEES THE FATHER DOING; for whatever things that One does, THESE THINGS ALSO THE SON DOES LIKEWISE. (2) "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will find out that I am he, and OF MYSELF I DO NOTHING, but rather EXACTLY AS THE FATHER HAS TAUGHT ME, THOSE THINGS I SPEAK. 29And the one who sent me IS CONTINUALLY WITH ME. HE HAS NOT LEFT ME ALONE, because I always do the things pleasing to him." (3) "49 FOR I FROM MYSELF HAVE NOT SPOKEN; rather, the Father who sent me, he has given me COMMANDMENT, WHAT I SHOULD SAY, and HOW I SHOULD SPEAK. 50And I know, that his commandment means eternal life. Therefore, WHAT THINGS I SPEAK, JUST AS THE FATHER HAS SAID THEM TO ME, I SPEAK THEM JUST SO." (4) "The statements which I say to you I do NOT SPEAK FROM MYSELF, BUT THE FATHER ABIDING IN ME IS DOING HIS WORKS." .......... Could Jesus additionally have a SECOND LEADER, "the Lord giver of life" - to lead Him - even if only a few times? Of course THERE IS NO PLACE LEFT FOR THAT: from the above verses you see that Jesus IS LED VERY CLOSELY "exactly "(!) by the Father, who is "continually" "abiding" (!) in Him. That no one else is there is also implicitly stated : "...He has not left me ALONE..." i.e. you just have the Father with the Son, period. But how can one explain the next verse: Jesus being filled and led by the Holy Spirit? (5) "FILLED with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from Jordan and was LED BY THE SPIRIT into the wilderness."..... Well, with the verses (1)-(4) Jesus reveals that the HOLY SPIRIT inside Him IS THE FATHER. This directly implies that the Father must be a spirit. Yes, you can find confirmation that the Father is a spirit: "God is a spirit". Not only in Jesus, exactly the same kind of relief - by the Father - when speaking - also occurs inside the apostles: "because it is not ye that will speak, but the SPIRIT OF YOUR FATHER...". However, you can notice there that the term "SPIRIT" is used instead. Well, confusion arises because Jesus has the "Father who is a spirit" and calls Him sometimes "FATHER" (Holy) (generally when Himself is concerned), sometimes "SPIRIT" (Holy, of God, of the Father...) when other people are concerned (see the apostles above). But they are just TWO NAMES for the SAME ONE SPIRIT: THE FATHER. No further "omnipotent spirit Lord giver of life" exists: it's just an invention. The Holy Spirit is thus the almighty God: for example the Devil could be INSIDE you, trying - UNNOTICED as much as possible - to steer your mind and to convince you do something. Well, God is no less, He is able to perform that action too! "The HOLY SPIRIT dwelling in you" simply means that God is inside you, trying to lead you. Thus, "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" is SYNONYM of "blasphemy against the Father". No one has been FORGOTTEN there: just TWO blasphemies are possible, one against the Father and one against the Son! This also means that when Jesus was baptized, simply the Holy Spirit - i.e. the Father who is a spirit - SAID "...you are my beloved Son...". Just the Father and the Son were there, TWO ! No one else exists, this is stated by Jesus: "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me". The Father is now ONLY ACTIVE in His "Spirit form" (see for example the Holy Spirit and Mary's pregnancy), but He also existed in His "normal form" (see "the Father" in the baptismal formula). God existed in that "normal form" ONLY "...before the existence of the world" (Jn. 17:5,24). Therefore "Righteous Father, the world HAS NOT KNOWN you..."; this is also why "No one has ever seen God..." and why Jesus inherited the kingdom of God "The Father loves the Son and has given him all things into his hand." . Only God who dwells in that remote past makes God's decisions, He is the SOURCE of the "Spirit of God". The Spirit of God proceeds from the Father dwelling in that past and acts here. But He is just a God's ATTRIBUTE: there's NO ONE here. God is thus only made by the Father (absent) and the Son.
doesn't every christian get the Holy Spirit, when becoming a christian? what's the difference between having the H.S. and beeing baptized, power, but what else? John G. Lake healed even eithout the baptism of the H.S.?
Yes there is a difference between salvation and baptism of HS with evidence of tongues. In another video he mentioned JG Lake was healing the sick 17 years before receiving Baptism of HS. You can heal the sick and cast out demons using authority as a believer. Baptism of HS with tongues is for power to be a witness. It aids and benefits us as believers to exercise both authority and power in ministry. Praying in tongues also helps tremendously.
We shouldn't have fear toward our God. Jesus showed us that Father is pure love and we should pray for acknowledge His love for us and it will make us to be careful in obeing guidenes of His Spirit. The fear is not from the Father. He is perfect love and His children obey Him in love received from Him.
Jesus made it simple. The enemy deceives God's people that receiving is so hard and that people have to do all these crazy acrobatic acts and processes to make things happen.
I disagree. Starting to move your mouth is just like faith act. It starts the flow and the tongues comes out. This is an effective way to help people start their gift. Some people never start praying in tongues even though they have it. People can have their healing and need to step out. Tongues works the same way. This teaching causes doubt where we need to believe and act just like healing.
Well, I've been in the very situation Curry described and, in my case, I wasn't actually speaking in tongues. I was surrounded by people telling me over and over to start making sounds so I did. Everybody cheered and celebrated because they didn't know the difference. About a month or so later I was in prayer and told God if speaking in tongues was really something he had for me then I'd receive it. THEN I began to actually speak in tongues and have been doing so ever since.
I was a Christian my whole life and and well speaking in tongues too until I realized I was speaking in tongues in the flesh and It got to a time where I kept asking God for the Holy Spirit because now I knew I didn’t have him. Then He came and I would never forget that day it was a powerful experience and my life was changed. Now I knew that I knew I had the Holy Spirit and so I began to pray for people and they were being healed by the Holy Spirit in me.

Is the baptism in the Holy Spirit ( in manner at Pentecost) necesery for having faith, hope and love? Is the baptisam in the Holy Spirit always in the way that we see in the Scripture? Is it authentic when every of people speaking in tongues pronounce the few same words and nothing different from mostly of groups of believers? Many questions ...
@@gordanadrmic752 during the time of the disciples before Pentecost, Jesus gave them the authority to do that. I have also asked people to pray for people for healing and it manifested. In the Bible there was a man who was casting out a demon using the name of Jesus with out the Holy Spirit and he still succeeded because the name of Jesus is greater than any other name Mark 9: 38-41. So the whole point is that Jesus said if you {believe} this signs shall follow you in my name you will ........... . So just believe and step out of your comfort zone brothers and the Holy Spirit will confirm the words of Jesus Christ our Lord. Trust him do it. Mathew 7:24 I leave you with.
@@SA_1Thess4.17 when I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit I did not speak in tongues. It was an amazing experience that I'll never forget and I thank God in Heaven for filling me with his Holy Spirit! The people that prayed for me to receive it made me make noise with my mouth, but nothing had happened. Later, at home, as I was giving an account of how the prayer meeting went when something hit me suddenly! It started at my head and went down filling my whole body and felt like it settled into me. It was an intense peace, love and power sensation that was a very spiritual/physical experience, not emotional at all. It's not the same way for everyone, but that's how it happened to me. Thank you Jesus! So, I don't see how Curry's message could ever make me doubt that. How about you?
