That was so good. I remember you couldn't walk around Pete's Dad's place barefoot. Pieces of Lego everywhere . Pete was so easy to buy Christmas presents for.... it was Lego all the way. I'd need a week in that Museum just playing with the electronics. Bonus points for Steph building a mini Zoot - the coolest saxophone player ever 😎

Fun fact: Legoland is not owned by the Lego company, but was sold off to cut costs. The Lego House is owned by Lego and is therefore only built in Billund Denmark; home of the brick

Let me correct you a bit: In June 2019, the Merlin Entertainments board agreed to recommend a takeover offer of £4.8 billion from a consortium consisting of Kirkbi A/S (50%), CPP Investment Board and The Blackstone Group. The takeover was approved by the high court in November 2019 Kirkbi A/S was formerly known as LEGO Holding A/S So LEGOLAND is controlled by The LEGO Group

Well, I am a former Master Model designer/builder from Miniland Show&Events at LEGO in Billund now immigrated to the USA, but but, to Pete on your comment 20.54 min, the scale in the park in general is 1:20, but that also gives limitations in the clusters in the Miniland's, so some models has to be scale down due to size, like many bigger ships. The "mini figures," are if used in a scale model around scale 1;40 or 1;50, the "Lego people" you see inside the park's Minlands clusters would in real life be around 7 feet tall 😉. I left in 2001, so it has been a while ago now, none of my models are in Billund Denmark, since I was assigned to build architecture models in 1:20 for at the time coming new German Legoland park. The Show&Events Miniland dept. is long gone now, as the hole team of very highly skilled Model Designers/ builders, the scale models are less detailed in the newer parks, it's a bit hard breaking to see the original park's standard disappearing, we did not use computer aid in general to build scale models, I often think about open a "real Master builder course" to transfers our skill sets and knowledge, my old gang is not getting younger(most are now in their mid 60s)

I did not even know they had a Legoland in Denmark, let alone that it was invented there lol. I really love how you gave us a load of information about it too, thats great ^^ It's good to see you back in europe but with all of the improved editing skills you gained since coming to asia! c: I wish you could go to Hungary! they have some of the best wine on the planet (Tokaji, sweet desert wine). It's amazing how much contnt you can get from just one theme park. Next year I'd really like to make some dedicated videos on Koreas theme parks, like seoul grand part where we went (both the zoo nd theme park since they have both) and lotte world and everland since they are so famous. Great Video ^^ Do consider a detour to hungary xD PS: It's definitely Lego. Same grammatical point as "cereal" vs "cereals" though. We don't count some things as plural if it is a group, the group is singular. A box of lego, a box of cereal. Some cereal. some lego.

When visiting Billund you should also visit the water land Lalandia, which is only a short walk from Legoland. There they have several restaurants, playgrounds, ice-skating the water land of cause and other fun stuff got kids. You can also stay in one of their Villas. Two days entry to Legoland is about the same price as a yearcard, for Lalandia I think it is about 3 days.

Your son is going to do well in school. I took my son everywhere possible in our way of life. He's doing well in school. The best part was that he started pre school with zero English. Your son will do great in school .

There is a water ressort called Lalandia nearby that has restaurants ... and water ofc. You can rent residences there as well.

I'm sorry to be that person, but you misspelled "Leg" in "Leg godt", "Lej" means "Rent" as in "to rent".. 😅 And on the LEGO vs LEGO's thing, you are right on the money there, the correct term is LEGO bricks.. ^^

Just a bit of a spelling error. It is leg godt and not lej godt (at least that is what I think you wrote). Leg is play, lej is rent.

Oh how I cringe everytime I hear an S put on the brands name It's brand name + thing + s. For example: LEGO sets, LEGO bricks, LEGO elements and so on. Never ever the brand name alone
