Not only. This tells a lot about the fact that future is uncertain, and that maybe you will be good not in something you dreamed about, but something that will happen in your life or that you will discover by casualty. This guy tried a lot of stuff, and in the end is fortune has been in something he believed to be "his last resort". I love this story. It's real life.
I'm 51 years old with no retirement plan yet,any suggestions on accumulating a million dollar portfolio within 12-18 months? I have currently saved a capital of $100k
Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains the priority. Forex trading has plenty of opportunities to earn a decent payout, with the right skills and proper understanding of how the market works
I totally agree with you,Forex trading is the most profitable venture I ever invested in,I reached my goal of $500k yearly trade earnings, setting realistic goals is an essential part of trading
actually only those parents are highlighted in these stories who were bad, the good parents are not shown because they didnt do anything to be shown in the struggle of the people, because people search for sadness and tragedy in successful people's life stories as it gives spice to the story.........
What I got from this video is that Tom never gave up, he was an extremely hard worker, and he always went for what he wanted despite all the obstacles he faced. 👏🏾
"If the customers didn't get their pizza after 30 minutes, it's free" Me: *waits in the dominos restaurant for 2 hours just to get a pepperoni pizza and coke for 7 dollars*
@@etoatoummhmm6391 but he's not bankrupt. And you do realise that almost all rich people have huge debts, which they keep investing. That's how they remain rich.
Hi and Hello. I gather people for a good cause: I wanna provide people with Links leading to bad or toxic people. Mobber, Racists, Sexists, Bullies, more. I got the Links and i need help with reporting them. I mean, complaining about the State of the world is nice and dandy, but... how about acting? Doing something? I know this was random and also overly summarized, but think about it and consider. You can make a difference. Means: I gathered and confirmed many Links. And made a Wiki to provide the Public with them. Wanna help, too?
incase y’all didnt know he sold dominos and spent his billions on starting a college in immokalee florida. i’ve met him before and i’m actually going to this college in the fall.
Ikr I mean what kind of lazy do you have to be to not handle a situation you put yourself in and make excuse for... Pro choice people: FYI I'm pro natural selection the more these people don't have kids the less idiots in the world
There seems to be one key to the secret of success for everyone. In the case of Domino's, it was his ad for college students claiming, "Hot Fresh Pizza in 30 Minutes or It's Free!" No words promising delicious or nutritious! LOL
I worked for Domino's for 10-years starting at the very beginning of the "30 Minutes, Fast or Free" policy. Good times... *Shout out to my old Domino's bosses Kevin K, Corey M and Terry T!
@Hemit Patel even for 1950 standards that’s still cheap. In today’s money 500 in 1950 would be 5518 dollars still much much cheaper than what it costs to buy a business near a university today
From being homeless, to being a billionaire from handling a billion dollar pizza business empire. Tom Monahan has been through a lot. Hopefully this is an inspiration for those who want to follow his footstep. thxn for giving us history about dominos.
@@Proman476 If Google is correct that $2000 is worth ~$17000 today, then I say he saved a lot less than he should. My younger brother saved $30,000 from doing odd jobs, summer jobs, and a consistent weekend job from middle school till the end of his first year in college. He's a fcking hard-working brother that would make me feel ashamed of myself. But I'm proud of him! But I guess my brother saved more because we still have our mother supporting us. Feel sad that Domino's mother disowned him.
it goes so fast at the end like the start over explains his childhood and then “tom opened up this many stores now dominos is worth 9 billion dollars the end”
Well 15 dollars back then would equal a couple hundred dollars today. This definitely wouldn’t work in the society we have just because everyone’s already thought of all the inventive things.
This mans pain tolerance is on another level, no matter what the world threw at him , nothing could compare to the pain of being abandoned! So no wonder he kept pushing through 🥴
@@eprofessio Lol its not money laundering dude. Its to 'streamline' the business for time management by avoiding to have to go the bank to break big notes for small change constantly.
i think thisll be the last time ill have dominos, i had 7 chicken kickers and a small pizza from the uber eats app and overall it was £35 i was like nah i aint buying this again
I don't know who, but someone actually needs to hear this, you've got to stop saving all your money. Venture into investing some, if you really want financial stability
Awesome and very insightful updates Well i will also say this here... Even as the world still experience slow recovery in terms of economic meltdown due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak, it is best advised to find another alternative to make good income.
Making profitable trades isn't as hard as you think, I took the right steps as a beginner by investing with a reliable brokerage where all my trades are being handled by financial expert Mr Dimitri lius
@Evop Fx The community sucks. The devs literally release update with tons of bugs. The Lua guide to scripting has been outdated for 5 years. And many more
Hey, native Michigander here! I’m surprised nobody’s talked about his pronunciation of Traverse City. Just FYI, it’s pronounced Tra-verse City (long a). Great video btw
A truly inspirational story never give even when life is hard filled with struggles debt and dispair never give up in the mist of failure u will survive and succeed
Hold up, you said “if their customers don’t get their pizza in 30 minutes, it was free” but one day I waited like 1 hour for a dominos pizza and still had to pay. Did I get scammed???
After an accident where a dominos delivery guy rammed his car in some person on the street to get the 30 minute mark they sure did change the policy fast
Just beautiful inspiration! Thank you Hook for sharing this story. You know when i was small i wanted to get actor and actresses autographs but now i understand and i changed my mind.i want these hardworking successful people autographs!Thank you Tom for never giving up!
Yall ever noticed that the successful ppl had a rough/bad childhood? And people who want to be successful and have a good childhood cant make it is it cuz they dont try hard enough or what is it?
It called hunger and the need to get out the hole your in. The knowing that if you fail you will go backwards and you know it'll happen but will get back up without give in to fear. Most people don't have that because they had it easy. Don't get me wrong support is great but, taking for granted is just a waste.
