Imagine stomach cramps together with hot red slimey blood pouring out of you, swollen feet, sharp pain in your bum, diarrhoea, migraines and sometimes vomiting..and you can't turn it off or control it! Lower back pain, diarrhea, nausea, headaches, acne, bloating, sore breasts, emotional rollercoaster. The constant anxiety of worrying whether your tampon or pad is still working. If it were just cramps it wouldn't be that bad, it's the other shit that makes it hard.

For perspective, there have been multiple cases of women going to the emergency room with pain and being told that their appendix has burst and they need immediate surgery. When asked why they didn't come in sooner, they've responded that they assumed it was their usual period pain.

The craziest part was, he put the machine on the tiniest woman ever, and started her on #3 and jumped to #5. She barely flinched. He gave it to her husband and he was on the floor screaming at level #2. Yall have no idea how strong women actually are!

On top of cramps take into account sore breasts, acne breakouts, headaches, brain fog, light-headedness from blood loss, nausea, intense emotions, painful bowl cramping, and with all that going on, having to do normal daily life. Plus, being mocked & ridiculed for wanting/needing extra bathroom breaks or any time off at work/school. I appreciate your willingness to try this and the empathy towards what we have to go through. 😖

You honestly thought that we get used to cramps because we have it almost every month? People with chronic pain have it every second of every day and don't get used it. The agony may not always be there but PAIN still hurts lol

I used to miss school miss school because of my period. One time I was crawling down the hall trying to get to the office at school and a guy saw me and helped me up. He took me to the nurse and laid me on the bed and started running around looking for help. I rolled out the bed and vomited then crawled back in and just laid there like my life was over. 🤣🤣🤣 My mom picked me up and I was just in the parking lot hanging out the car vomiting. My periods are so bad I have to wear double protection and can't leave the house for 2 days. If I don't take enough iron I have to get a transfusion cause I lose so much blood I get dizzy and fall down. I don't want my period no mo. I'm so tired 😭 I've been check for cysts and all that but this is just how my normal body is.

They should try to do this after a full day of working, stopping at the grocery store,cooking Dinner, while trying to help the kids with homework,cleaning up,trying to get a load of laundry done because the kids need clean clothes ETC..LADIES IF NO ONE HAS TOLD YOU TODAY OR ANY OTHER DAY YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL,STRONG,LOVING AND I SEE YOU💖..YOU ARE WORTH IT QUEEN 🤞🏽🙏🏽💯

I just explained to my dad the hormonal imbalances a lot of women go thru around that time of the month and he was shocked. He thought we were just short bc of the pain…like literally the chemicals in my body are off my guy, take everything said w a grain of salt lol. I developed really bad depression symptoms at one point. I had to work to mitigate that, thoughts can get REAL bad, real fast.

Coming across this on the latter half of my period is an experience. By God’s grace my pain is on the lower end considering stuff like endometriosis and PCOS, but for me it’s everything else. The pain is in waves, sometimes it’s a sucker punch, other times it’s like having muscle pain after a workout constantly, localized to your lower back and your thighs. Numbness in my legs, nausea that stops my appetite (and makes me chuck if I don’t eat), bowel issues, headaches, hot flashes, chills and much much more. Good stuff guys.

This video had me in tears laughing. Yes, I agree it comes close but it doesn't really let you experience the full force of that time. Stomach cramps are 1 and they vary from woman to woman. Back pain, migraine, upset stomach, sensitivity to smells and tender boobs. We get hit with a lot for 1-7 days a month and we won't ever get use to it because the symptoms change every month

as someone whos monthly is currently coming in, watching videos like this literally make me feel SOOOO much better (at least mentally/emotionally lmao) We're not used to it by any means, we just have learned to deal with the pain when you got shit to do! If only i can find a group that actually makes them wear it throughout the day and have them do their normal tasks

I think this just proves that everyone experiences pain differently and we shouldn't judge if someone says they're in pain, just believe them. Also external pain and internal are completely different things. I was limping on my "sprained" ankle for almost 2 days, before it swelled and bruised enough I had to go to hospital and found out it was broken, but if I hit my toes on a table leg...watch me swear and hop around for about 15 minutes, because I feel external pain worse than internal. I also kinda want to try this simulator, because I think my period cramps don't get as bad as most people talk about theirs, but like I said I don't feel internal pain that badly so I can't relate based on my experience.

Just for the record, the patches weren't low enough & they should have slapped one on the lower back by the kidneys so they could truly get the full experience 😂

I am glad stuff like this exist, so people hopefully can sympathize a bit more with each other experiences! I used to have them in my teens, like maybe a 3? on this scale, but all the pain just vanished in my 20's as soon as I started on the pill. and have been gone since. So I am one of the lucky ones. Add on a silicone cup and it's like it doesn't even exist!

But as a field engineer, Im often having to deal with my monthly on top of being in extreme elements, especially the hot summer months. Welcome to our normal guys. To all the guys that say we should be used to the pain if we feel it every month: Periods get worse as we get older until we get to a point where having children is no longer possible at a certain age. Symptoms are also different for every female and after having a child a woman's period can become worse and heavier. The more you know 😶

LIIIIISTENNNN...I had to endure extreme cramps during my Chemistry course. I was trembling!!! And it doesn't stop at the cramps...y'all missing the migraines, cravings, weakness and being cold from anemia, we can't laugh hard because then we gush blood....the lists goes on

I wish they would have it on throughout the day while doing everyday tasks. Its not something that just happens for 15 minutes and then stops.

Presently having cramps, seeing this already makes me happy but I still want to cry.

so imagine having to wake up, go to school/work, take tests, pay attention, drive, cook, walk, sleep, eat, and do just basic daily tasks whilst having to feel like your inner organs are gonna be ripped out. THAT is what us girls have to go through 1-4 days every month. on top of that we have to deal with being uncomfortable bc of the blood leaking out of us, with being tired and worn out bc of the pain and medicine we have to take, and having bad headaches and other symptoms too. guys have it easy, to say the least 🤷🏽‍♀️ oh and definitely 1-7 days depending on the person

This pain in no way compares to the real period cramps!!!

It's different for every woman. Some have more painful cramps than others. The pain could be worse during one period than another. AND, there's more going on than just cramps. There's the hormones. One of my periods I could have the happy hormones, and another period I'd have the angry hormones. My middle days was very heavy blood flow. I never wore light-colored pants during that time of the month. If a woman has other health issues, like cysts, I've heard that's like level 50!
