It's not fast. It's nimble. Because the wheelbase is so short, it's effortless to flick around. That's why it'll feel quick in cities or back roads but you'll probably get hit by a truck on a highway.
Skyteam has released few months ago a successor to the Elmax called the E-Mini, which looks like you put the front fork, swing arm and seat of a Dax onto a rollcage
I do feel it has defenitly gotten less in recent years, at least in my area (waasland). When i went to highschool basically everyone in my class had one. I eventually had 2 during my years there but personally didn’t really get the appeal of them and went back to the larger 50cc supermoto style bikes. At least in my school the popularity of them was because of the sound. Put an exhaust on and you got an obnoxiously loud low rumbling sound that’s apparently everything a teenage boy desires haha. I have owned 2 Skyteam Dax, 50cc Red Devil version and a black 125 cc. This summer I bought the brand new Honda Dax ST-125, and its just so amazing that you wont believe it! Greetings from Denmark.
