Video was great. Sometimes we as watchers don't realize that you guys have frustrating days. Lots of content creators make it look like everyday is close to perfect. Darcy I appreciated when you shared about your father and his struggles with health and when he passed. Not easy to do.

I guess everyone watches for different reasons. A faithful fan base will watch you cut the grass or do laundry! Seriously the fishing channels I watch will show me the lures they are using, show me how to work the lure/bait, and then teach about choosing a location. Y’all do that. Also, if there is someone on the boat who is pretty (like puddin’), then that’s a bonus. Btw, I live on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, Ga. Next time you visit your sister - you have a place to stay/fish.

I've been watching for a few years from up here in Stuart, and I love your guys' channel. I didn't grow up around saltwater, so it's often intimidating to go fishing here, not knowing the rigs, lures, setups, etc. Your content is what keeps me coming back, and I work on the water 40 hours a week, interact with a lot of transient people and anytime fishing comes up I recommend your channel to them for local fishing. Keep up the good work, we care, and love what the 2 of you do for us.

I enjoyed this “real” day of fishing. I wanted a shark video, but it doesn’t always work as planned. Keep doing what y’all are doing, the change up is good. Why not take your leftover bait and make chum blocks and hit some chumming vids? A yellowtail vid would be nice.

I remember watching the John Fox Fishing Show with my dad on Sunday afternoons in the '70s and every now and then he would talk about how it takes hours or days sometimes to make an episode because it depends on how cooperative the fish are. 😊👍✨🎣🐡🐟🐠🦈🐋

@@georgeadcock2347 Same here, after '85 I joined the Navy and moved around a lot overseas and didn't find him again until '98 when I finally got back stateside and found him on cable. Checkout "Jimmy Houston Outdoors" RU-vid channel for a short video about John Fox celebrating his 90th birthday last year called, "Turning 90 Years Old, Let's Celebrate!" I would include the link but RU-vid keeps deleting my posts with links but I did list of the channel and title of video to help you find it quickly.

I live in So Cal and have not caught a trout in over two years - they aren't stocking along the Eastern Sierra Nevada due to covid and a virus that hit our hatcheries - but I still love getting out and casting along the beautiful mountain streams and enjoying life outside and along the water - its not always important to nail that fish!!! - It's the journey! - you two are awesome and show that same passion - Love your channel!!!! Doesn't matter to me what type of fish you are catching (or not) the fact we can see you out there trying and it's real is great for me. The days like this only make you better fisher person. I've been fishing for a living 40 years . Sometimes fish happens. Don't sweat the small stuff. Fishing on the gulf side so I learn a lot from you for the times I trailer my boat to Stuart. Keep up the great work you do.

It's always a pleasure to see that your human and that you can have the same kind of days that the rest of us can have. Even if your are a little better at it than the most of us are. Saw a 79th st. ramp video the other day and it kind of showed Cizzle backing the trailer down to the ramp to pickup the boat. Talk about an artist ! Backing that trailer up was fun to watch! I offshore fish in West Palm and Jupiter at least once a week. It's definitely a lot of work and takes personal drive to get out there because of the work load involved. The conditions change daily because of the temp, moon, wind, water color etc. Can't slam it everyday, but we do appreciate you all taking the time putting together these videos for everyone to see. Keep on truckin.!! Tight lines.

Its definitely a grind. Other channels qlso do bass because thats what we have access to as they are in 49 states. If you're in the midwest cant really go offshore everyday. As the old saying goes thats why they call it fishing not catching

Having bad days is part of fishing. I think we all know that. You guys do s cool thing with mixing it up pretty often. Fishing, hunting (gators. Iguana, etc). If things are slow in your area, tensing is always near. You have a lot of fans all over the country. Maybe explore more new areas/methods.

I think this is one of your better videos. You guys always say follow your dreams, and keep on catchin. But this video gives a glimpse of how hard you work for your dream. We normally only see the result of your hard work. Perhaps a "day in the life" video? Show how the sausage is made. Your have a lot of gear to maintain, you film, you edit, you make merch, you respond to comments, just to name a few things. You are doing something you love, but you guys work incredibly hard at it and you entertain us, thank you.

Love the honesty for the behind the scenes. Florida local/native. And it’s true it’s not a perfect day on the water. I am a new YT fishing content creator. Fish sticks fishing. And taking a page and trying to also do variety and not just another snook targeting angler. But do freshwater, saltwater, etc. keep it fresh. No the same ol repeat snook Hunter or bass hunter. It's tough. Running charters can be like this too. Folks have this expectation that we (charter captains, show hosts, etc.) have some sort of magic to catch fish every cast, so it's good for them to see things like this. Some days are just tougher than others.

FOMO, gotta remember that one. New here.. found it from the marina vids. Like the fact that you show lures, strategies etc. Not every day fishing is productive but EVERY day fishing beats the hell out of working ! From Cape Cod so love these south Florida fishing vids with much longer seasons. Someday....I can still enjoy watching a non successful day over nothing.

I understand the stress of not catching fish at times and yes another mahi video is fine, but you can share a lot more - rig tying, underwater footage, cooking fish. Maybe a bait catching video, that works. Fish off one of those bridges and whatever bites. I can appreciate that it’s hard work, but remember me as I go into the office this morning with my phone blowing up, 497 unread emails, 7 meetings today, and I’m sure a crisis or two will pop up 😁. Appreciate the honesty, it’s fishing.

I love your videos. You 2 are an inspiration to me i had a stroke a few years ago and have started light fishing because of you guys. I just purchased my second rod and reel today. So thank you very much. I am from the east like pudding ny westchester. I lived in Tampa for 6 months about 9 years ago and never had a chance to fish, my biggest regret. Besides it is called fishing not catching love the content.

Hi! I liked this video! It shows what life is like for a fisherwoman/man. Sometimes you do everything right and you still don’t catch any fish. Fishing would be boring if you knew that you would always catch the fish you’re targeting. l can understand the “pressure “ when having this as a job, but l believe that soon enough you’ll be back catching a lot of interesting fish! You should consider washing your hands with soap and water after applying suntan lotion as fish pick up the taint from your hands on the bait. Some fish are more sensitive than others, but I've experienced this during many years of boat and surf angling.

in my experience, the best way ive found to catch a shark is 400lb mono leader to the hook thats about 12-18 inches long. i havent had a big one bite me off yet. usually if i lose a shark its bonnet heads and stuff that hit my smaller lines without heavy leaders.

I enjoy being on the water.....I watch a lot of fishing on you tube and it gets frustrating to watch people catch, catch, catch. I try to emulate what people do, but I get skunked more than not. I understand it is a business for you guys, but if I go out and get skunked I have to realize I am blessed just being out there.

Light drag to let them run when they first pick up but need tight drag yo get a good hook set. A reel with a bait runner switch makes that drag increase with a flip of a switch. Enjoy your vids. Keep on catchin

My uncle had 2 platters of salt water fish on the table when I got to his house in Port Lavaca Texas. I tried both. He ask me to guess what kind they were. Speckled trout, I knew was one of them but I liked the other plate better and it was a North Atlantic Long Nose shark (sometimes called sand shark in Tx) but it was delicious.

I use spit to tie my knots too but Everytime they always end up being all stretched out how do y'all get around that or dose it not matter if the line is all bent an don't go back straight like it was before I tied it. Killer vid as always.

Everyone has 'bummer' days, don't let it get you down, I'll watch anything you upload even if you don't catch fish... I've been watching you two for so long it's almost like spending time with old friends... If you feel you need 'content' go out in your yard and whack some Iguanas; everyone like seeing those pests get 'taken out'. Or maybe do some more fishing in the canal behind your house for Peacock Bass, it really doesn't matter what you do.......

hey guys love your fishing adventures! Most people don't realize fishing takes a lot of patience. Sometimes its luck being in the right place right time. I live in New York and don't have the variety of species you have down south. Where did you catch those monster sea bass? I didn't know they were down south. I think the date was 8/26.
