The Honeycombs - Have I The Right？ achterstevoren (backwards/reversed)
"Have I the Right?" was de debuutsingle en grootste hit van de Britse band The Honeycombs. Muziekcriticus Tom Ewing, die schreef voor Freaky Trigger, merkte op dat het nummer post-punk "uitvindt", "wat wil zeggen, als ik luister naar de instrumentale break op deze plaat, heldere gitaar en scherpe keyboard die toonloze stukken uit elkaar snijden, is het niet 1964 dat ik hoor." Het werd gebruikt als openingsthema voor Hold the Sunset.
Meek gebruikte zijn appartement op 304 Holloway Road, Islington (noord-Londen) als opnamestudio. Drie Britse nummer 1 hits werden daar geproduceerd: "Johnny Remember Me" van John Leyton in 1961, "Telstar" van The Tornados in 1962 en de laatste, "Have I the Right?" in 1964.
Opvallend in "Have I the Right?" is het prominente deel van de drums die het nummer dragen. Hun effect werd versterkt door de leden van de groep hun voeten te laten stampen op de houten trap naar de studio. Meek nam het geluid op met vijf microfoons die hij met fietsklemmen aan de balustrades had bevestigd. Voor de finishing touch sloeg iemand een tamboerijn direct op een microfoon. De opname werd iets versneld, naar verluidt tot teleurstelling van Dennis D'Ell, die het betreurde dat hij dit geluid niet op het podium kon reproduceren.

It was used as the opening theme for Hold the Sunset.

Conspicuous in "Have I the Right?" is the prominent part of the drums that carry the song. Their effect was enhanced by having the members of the group stamp their feet on the wooden stairs to the studio. Meek recorded the sound with five microphones he had fixed to the banisters with bicycle clips. For the finishing touch someone beat a tambourine directly onto a microphone. The recording was somewhat speeded up, reportedly to the disappointment of Dennis D'Ell, who regretted that he could not reproduce this sound on stage.
