Track 5 from their first and only EP "The Honeydrippers: Volume One" released in 1984 copyright Robert Plant's own label El Paranza Records, distributed by Atlantic Records. It was recorded at Atlantic Records Studios in New York with overdubs and mixing done at Marcus Studios in London. The project was inspired by Ahmet Ertegun, the Turkish-American co-founder of Atlantic Records, whose wish was to record an album of his favourite doo-wop songs from the Fifties. He had seen Robert Plant's new band the Honeydrippers performing Fifties classics so he approached him about making an album. Plant, who also loved those Fifties songs, was onboard immediately and has said it was his favourite recording project, which is saying a lot. The band was made up of old friends, who happened to be some of the best musicians of the day, and they also loved the songs they were asked to record. Ertegun and Plant were enthusiastic about recording another volume of Fifties classics but sadly he passed way in 2006 so it never came to be. The album received excellent reviews and reached No. 56 in the U.K., No. 44 in Sweden, No. 40 in Germany, No. 13 in Australia, No. 4 in the U.S. and No. 1 in Canada.
