The Hoppers are one of my favorite southern gospel groups of all time. I say one of my favorites because I have quite a few favorites. Music that gives glory to God, is the very best music there is, and always will be. 👍👍
Yes... Hallelujah...Amen.... Something Happening...wow... Hallelujah...Amen....... Love from Solomon Islands, A little Island Nation in the South Pacific
This is a great song and recitation. I like that the person talking was a witness of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Those who have been saved by Him will be resurrected some wonderful day.
Marsha Molden So sorry for your losses. Praying God gives you comfort through the Holy Spirit. Some day you can be reunited with your son and brother. They will not be in pain or sick. Hugs sent over the miles.
Marsha Molden.....I'm just scrolling through the comments here for this tremendous song, and I see yours. I pray God's comfort to you, wherever you are on your path of healing from such losses!
I “TOTALLY “ agree with you James, Kim sings like an Angel. And I too Love to hear Connie, ANYTIME! In fact, she happens to be “my” personal favorite of the family. And PLEASE take the following with the COMPLETE Christian Love in which it is intended, but I believe you meant to say that you Love Connie’s “RECITATION “ in the song. Not “ad-lib”. The two words have EXACT opposite meanings. :) I mean The Hoppers are ALWAYS WONDERFULLY prepared when they sing. GOD BLESS!
Somethings happening In Bethlehem From a stable a lovely Light glows within Is that a baby crying Theres excitement in the wind Somethings happening In Bethlehem VERSE 2: Somethings happening In Pilates hall On a porch Pilate pleads with an angry In this man called Jesus I can find no fault Somethings happening In Pilates hall VERSE 3: Something's happening O hear the sound There's a corss being driven in the cold Hard ground And the King of Israel He is dying now Something's happening O hear the sound VERSE 4: Somethings happening At Josephs grave Where Jesus of Nazareth Has laid three days Very early in the morning How the earth begins to quake Somethings happening At Josephs grave CHORUS: Come and feast your eyes On an empty tomb Come and smell the fragrance Where Sharon bloomed Then the lamb resurrected Will come into view And something will happen Deep inside of you
Wow! Do you think the crowd at First Baptist liked it??!! Do you get that kind of reaction at a Katy Perry (or pick your pop singer) concert? You get some brand of excitement, sure- but do you get that?
