Love the creator. Thank you, did you know that he has a webtoon of his story. Question: If you made your own Godzilla story. What it will be? What's the story?
Yeah, read the web toon and loved it. Hmmm, if I made a movie it would be a mockumentary, found footage film about researchers who discover Godzilla’s body at the bottom of the ocean. Throughout the film they discuss what it could be and discover signs that it might still be alive. We learn about tons of conspiracy’s around its existence, like perhaps the castle bravo nuke was actually Godzilla and the government used the nuke as a coverup of sorts. During the film three factions of researchers would be created. The first group who fear Godzilla and work to make weapons that will kill him if he ever woke up. The second feels that they should leave it alone and there’s a third radical group who wants to wake it up and bring upon a new world through destruction. The movie is basically in a pov perspective and how these different groups interact In order to decide the fate of Godzilla and the world.
I would love to see an I Am Legend style Godzilla story where there's only one person alive on Earth and the original original Gojira was never killed in 1954 and continued to wipe out everything alive to a nuclear wasteworld, and the last remaining survivor discovers the blue prints to the Oxygen Destroyer to use to recreate an advanced one to kill Godzilla from the inside. Titled "Gojira: Infamy" it would virtually be a silent movie besides from the survivor's deceased wife's audio tapes. Very dark and somber story about isolation, depression, and grief, and fear of the unknown. There's no way it would ever get made into a movie. Too grim to kids, and not a lot of action for Kaiju fans. At the end of the day, it's a character-study about a man, a tape recorder, bunch of dead bodies and a giant monster.
There’s also a version of Anguirus here too Those fleshy Godzilla type monsters actually formed into one being, a hive mind if you will, Hive mind Anguirus
@@WarpingFist According to Metal Neck it would be a fight if they step into each others territory.... they're legit just giant animals and react as such.
I would love it if it turned out that mechagodzilla had merged with the military equipment to create his own skin and escape his pain, it would be cool to see mechagodzilla become gradually less fleshy and aggressive and more mechanical and chill overtime
Godzilla was made as a representation of the nuclear blast, reed represents the fallout. Yapping aside I love Godzilla and I'm glad you told me about this series of fan art. Really cool stuff. Edit:Eyyyyyy I got 100 hundred likes let's go.
This is actually so insane. I can’t believe one of my favorite RU-vidrs is covering one of my favorite fan works. Especially considering how relatively obscure both of them are.
So basically, Mechagodzilla is kinda similar to an Evangelion in this universe. That just makes it all the more terrifying, given how utterly brutal the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion actually is.
One of my favorite parts about the creator. He did a QnA and I asked him what would happen if BM Godzilla and Shin Godzilla met. He said they would be besties.
The thing that's most terrible about this is that Reed is in constant pain, he just wanted to be happy and be with his father (as you can see by his smile when he sees Dr. Serizawa). Now he's a giant, a horrible monster that means nothing more and probably wants to be dead.
@@WarpingFist oh so there was a commercial featuring Godzilla vs Charles Barkley who is a basketball player yes I am not joking there is an actual commercial where Godzilla plays basketball
I personally think it'd be awesome to see the Matango in this style since that movie was also made by Toho. For those unaware, the Matango are irradiated mushrooms that slowly drive the host mad when consumed, eventually turning them into insane cackling mushroom people. I could see them working well in this series, perhaps as a force contending with reed.
Great video on Godzilla Black Mass! You show me that Godzilla can be more than just giant monsters fighting other giant monsters. That Godzilla is an iconic horror monster in the fan community. Also, can you do video analyzing Godzilla man in the suit and the invasion of Godzilla Virus in your future videos if you have time?
Neat video. There's other godzilla horror story like this called the invasion of godzilla in analog horror format. the story is interesting and pretty complex. pretty good but the first episodes kinda rough
Cool story a more horror like gozilla story 💯 A nice video to watch on a Saturday afternoon. My favorite gozilla movie is minus one. Especially the soundtrack! Fantastic
no matter how the serizawa chemical affected reed, no matter how much destruction it caused, its still an animal, scared and alone, like the original '54, its still an animal
Ive read the first four issues of this fan comic and so far its amazing. I wish Toho would make a full on horror version of Godzilla but i don't see that happening anytime soon. Can't wait to read more of the comic.
Awesome concept and i gotta say in a way with how reed basically spreads his biomass all over the place is kinda like a spore version of godzilla earth
They essentially created a universe where the entire Godzilla disaster is actually caused by the Japanese people, going against the metaphor that originates the character. Am I the only person who sees something problematic about this?
I remember watching shorts trying to figure out how they became kaijus so godzillas body morphs them into a kaiju...like radiation poisoning or the mushroom spores form last of us
as fun as this is... it's hard to take seriously with what we know now of the Exclusion Zone in Cherynoble and the massive leaps and bounds that Mother nature has done to make various animals now immune to the radiation particles coming off the area. Amphibians that can now absorb radiation, Wild dogs that evolved abilities to deal with the radiation in the area. Mother Nature is fricken awesome and does wonders replacing us. We humans are not unique, life will go on after us. Life adapts to our poisons, it's WE that don't adapt. Pollution isn't going to kill the earth, it's going to kill US. There are animals that have evolved to live and devour the massive island of trash in the ocean, there are new bacteria that break down the inorganic components found in plastics. Mother Nature is telling us we aren't special. its' not the horrors we make that will kill us... it's the horrors mother nature produces to deal with our horrors that will.
My first thought was that this was a sort of spiritual successor to to Shin Godzilla, but this is a whole other animal. I like how Serizawa seems like a reference to the scientist who made the oxygen destroyer.
Amazing. This is the kind of stuff that grabs my attention and I get hooked. I wonder if there is an Instagram or Reddit community of fans of this kinda stuff. Socializing won't be so horrific there haha.
Im pretty Black Mass Goji represents America's failure and attempts to keep 3 mile island incident under wraps from the public and likely this Goji being made to clean up the accident but goes out of control
"However, a way humanity could be wiped out is not something we often think about - a virus" I want to ask "did someone just wake this guy from a 4 year coma," but he immediately showed humanity's history of grappling with the concept. So like, huh.
