Wow what an amazing and special lady. I’m a huge advocate for animal welfare and just love animals all together to the point where I’m studying a bachelor of science majoring in animal health and welfare at university. However I don’t think I could do what she’s doing. She’s amazing , I wish the world had more people like her
With a lot of the stories is peoples personal experience that allows them to want to make the world a better place and do something which I find beautiful
Thank God for this woman. I have a very strong love for animals, but it's just so hard when they're I'll or dying. I don't know how she does this but I'm greatful
My sister died of cancer a couple of weeks ago, and I have been unable to cry. IDK, Why. I feel this big whole inside. As I started watching this video, I find myself almost in tears for these animals. My doggy died from cancer a couple of years back. Seeing these animals going through what my sister just did, may be the ticket to a good cry. The idea that I may never see my baby sister ever again, really hurts. I keep it to myself because no one can really understand the dept of pain and loss I'm walking through . I'll go watch this video now I'm at the 00:45. Thank you for posting, and reminding me I am human and this is all just a part of life God Bless.
Over the years I have had cats, rats, and dogs who required palliative care and were essentially abandoned. It is truly a humbling but rich existence. But for the record, I couldn't hold a candle to Alexis.
This woman is truly an angel from god him self. I really feel bad about her having cancer. She wonderful. There’s not enough phase in the world for what she doing. We need to pray that god will truly blessed her and bet her cancer pray that god will bless her and heal her she is so needed her lord. God bless you and keep you safe and heal you we need angels like you here. I pray each day your pain free and your cancer is gone. A truly blessed woman. 😢
She doesn't have cancer. Some of the animals she cares for have cancer. She did mention that she was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2010. Crohn's disease is an auto immune disorder where the immune system attacks anywhere along the digestive tract causing inflammation, bleeding, and ulcers. I hope this cleared things up. Have a great day 😊
Max Nodwell ooh thanks for letting me know I had a lot on me today. But yes thanks for letting me know that she doesn’t have cancer. But I know haven an immune systems like hers Is very bad your body is turning on it’s self . But I really hope she will be able to continue helping animals like these. I think she really an amazing woman. Thank you for sharing your information. Hope you have a great weekend 😀
Thank you for your kind words. I may be Wiccan and not follow god, but I believe in all religions and their God/Goddess/ dieties etc. Everyone and every religion is valid in my eyes. I think its wonderful that you offered such kind words involving your religion. Though I fear it wont help too much, its the thought and actions that count. Blessed be to you and yours. I wish you nothing but the best.
I totally understand. I think we need to respect other people religion. And I really like some of the Wiccan ways. I really think it awesome what you are doing for theses animals. Sometimes I really don’t understand why people can do the things we do to hurt and mistreat each other and animals. It truly makes me think who is the real animal? I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do and I truly wish you and all your beautiful animals the best of everything and I pray you and those animals you take such good care the best of everything. You are a truly amazing person and we as humans need to a closer look at our selfs and learn how to treat each other and animals they way we would want to be treated. Thank you for everything you do. May all your dreams come true. You are a wonderful person . Lots of love 💕
Omg this woman... Shes a blessing put on earth. Her will, determination and love surpasses that of so many. Hospice for animals.. This entirely beautiful story has tears in my eyes. I too used to recue horses and dogs that were on death row in absolutely in-humane circumstances and watched them blossom into the most beautiful, strong and life loving creatures. It was all worth it in the end even when we only got a few months or years with them :'). Thank you for what you do, the difference you are making in your part of the world means more than you know. I hope more people follow In your footsteps and see that geriatric animals deserve a home and love and to be cherished til its their time to leave. You're a true blessing and warrior. I wish nothing but the best for you and your wonderful babies.
Gosh, i really hope this woman also wants human children (by whichever means) she’d be an amazing mum to both human AND animals😩😩😩 and then they’d all grow up with this beautiful view of animals and her love and drive for wanting to help animals would spread further etc.
its weird that many people who have watched this and commented about how it made them cry and how wonderful the lady is but yet still eat meat and fish.
When I can afford it I'm building a cat shelter and rescuing abandoned cats (and dogs) I've wanted to do it for so long I know it will happen one day 😊
Does she give the dogs painkillers? Its all very well giving the dogs company but i, and i think the dogs, would prefer to not go on living in constant pain
Hospice care for humans is the same for animals. The entire point is to provide a pain free, love filled life until they are called away from their body.
Because humans get alot already. Human charities get grants and funding. Animals do not get anything of the sort. With animals it's euthanize and be done with it, however as we know with medicine and care, they can live a little longer a happy life, just like humans. Humans already have facilities to accommodate, some people are just more drawn to animals. If I didn't have to work, id open an animal sanctuary, and take on animals rescued from the clutches of the meat industry. I wouldn't open an orphanage because for me animals need help too, and I prefer animals to children.
@@fabrizio483 everyone, of every species, deserves care and love and not to be killed, unless their quality of life is nil. In my experience, which is quite extensive, it is generally those who care about animals who also care the most, often in practical ways, about humans too.
@@fabrizio483 go away stupid man making irrelevant dumb comments. It's her life what she wants to do. If she wants to help animals and make a difference to the world while she is fighting a disease that's her choice.
