The hour has come. Homily for the 7th Sunday of Easter, Year A. 

We have come to one of the most majestic moments in the Fourth Gospel. The hour has finally come, and Jesus will be crucified on the following day. Once Jesus has returned to the Father, the disciples will be the ongoing bearers of the mission of Jesus. They are to make God known by loving as Jesus has loved. Jesus’ mission in and to ‘the world’ has come to an end, but that of the disciples is about to begin.”
