I bought my flat two years ago and I bludddy love my little DIY projects. I’ve tiled my kitchen, de-tiled part of the bathroom (work in progress), decked and painted my balcony! Big plans for a custom shoe rack and changing all light fittings, not to mention a bloooddy total bathroom renovation!

Me and my family always do construction on our own houses. I’ve always helped everyone, I sanded my own ugly plastered wall, my mom can lay floors. We paint everything ourselves. My brother just moved and my mom took the wall paper off just like you did. It’s nice to see you do those things! I just feel bad you’re doing it alone, with our family you always have a full house of helpers.

Enjoying yr Reno's, doesn't get boring. Have u chosen wall and ceiling colours. White ceiling is too bright for yr eyes and you tend to see the ceiling cause it's white bright, choose a off white like "ghostly white 1/2" it's very soft on the eyes, Evening looks cosy. Poppy she'll luv it. ☺️

Really looking forward to the house renovations, always interesting to see how it changes and progresses. You’ve probably though of this but if you’re not going to carpet the downstairs I’d sand and seal the floors sooner rather than later, they look good now but they’d be amazing sanded and varnished 😊
