Chirpy Henrietta-creator and minor guitar legend Stan without his glasses. Unusual. I remember reading about their split in NME on the bus as I was planning to buy their second album. I was peed off, I can tell you. TWO albums and they're gone?!!
I literally cried when I read in the NME that they'd split up. I was 14 and they meant everything to me. A couple of months later I transferred my allegiance to The Wedding Present.
I wonder if there is a version of "There Is Always Something There To Remind Me" somewhere with that school choir singing "It shouts out loud". I would love to hear that very much.
