I made my first six or so skydives out of a Howard... c.1976 at Lake. Elsinore CA. They had 3 at the time mostly used for static line & lower free fall student use. DC-3's were used for larger load advanced jumper use. Those were the days... lots of good people & times!

I too made my first 4 jumps in 1975 at Lake Elsinore. I remember the Howards were painted bright yellow. I later made another 95 descents in Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
