@HunnuRock @HalestormRocks what a collaboration!!! This was such a moving anthem! In my opinion one of the most empowering songs we have had on the channel. #thehu #mongolia #halestorm #live #reaction
Great reaction and you are right on target! Being a woman, I agree that this has become an anthem -- and it is my anthem too! The Hu are phenomenal (love Mother Nature) and this was my introduction to Lzzy Hale, who is phenomenal too, as you said! Great job. Thank you.
It’s not well known, but many “Warrior” cultures honor their women, few (like the Vikings) even had Women Warriors that fought (the Vikings had “Shield Maidens”) . I’m a 58 year old US Army Cold War era Veteran, first time I heard this song it made me think of my Mother, my sister, my Daughter, and my granddaughter. It had me tearing up.
I loved watching your face while you were diggin' it. Lizzy wrote her part when they asked her to collaborate. It still makes me tear up. It pleases me that you immediately thought of the women in your life.💖
yeah - that’s the ultimate mother’s day song 💥 Lzzy Hale mentioned she wrote her part and didn’t recognize how epic this was then her mother got heavy emotional. She was really frightened about the reaction of her mother. Love from Austria 🇦🇹
Great reaction Daniel... you really need to check out the Hu mother nature feat. LP... I PROMISE THIS WILL ALSO BLOW YOU AWAY!!! Beautiful, moving and best enjoyed with a good malt whiskey after a loooonggg day work... you won't be disappointed!!
I love The Hu and I love Lzzy Hale's voice. It's so powerful. As a drummer I find both lots of drums great in this song. They're all talented musicians. Did you do Sad But True yet? Oh, and thanks!
I could barely keep my eyes off the traditional drummer, I believe his name is Odko? He is totally lost in the sound of his drums. Just love it. I love ALL of it.
It's on my playlist, that's for sure. This is such a powerful song. The Hu also collaborated with LP to do the song "Mother Nature." That is another one that definitely deserves a listen. I can't remember if you have ever reacted to LP. If not, there is another artist that you should definitely look into. Take a look at their song "Lost on You", the live version.
An absolutely amazing collaboration. As a side note, my ex gf was/is Inner Mongolian (she claimed to be a descendent of Genghis Khan) and I got a chance to visit The Great Grasslands and experience Mongolian culture firsthand. The awesome Hu band with Lzzy Hale really just knock it out of the park! Excellent reaction sir!
Hey Sir! I've often said that Lzzy is the best female Rock singer going today (and probably 2nd only to Ann Wilson). And she does a lot of collabs, so good luck with your spiderwebs! And yeah - this song is so moving and awesome. For fun, there are fan recordings of them playing this together, so check them out! Rock on, Sir! 🤘😎👍
I read that the Hu's peeps contacted Lzzy's with interest and the jist of this song. Within three weeks Lzzy returned three vocal tract and "the boys" had it mixed and released.
Another collaboration is Lzzy Hale and Lindsey Stirling. Lindsey Stirling - Shatter Me ft. Lzzy Hale (Official Music Video) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-49tpIMDy9BE.html
HU is "something else" than "normal" metal rock, agree that, they are GOOD. I cheated and find out You have allready reacted to DeepPurple Child in time. But did You know that Ian Gillan, singer, was first guy to sing Getshemane, from Jesus christ Superstar, only 2 months after that live performance of Child in Time, 1970 You should react that too.
I think you need to check out Lord of the Lost - Morgana. I may be tempted to post this on every video until it gets played. Do not mess with drunk Ross.
if you can get any Halestorm songs on the channel, I miss the misery, Mz. Hyde, I Like it Heavy and pretty much song off of the back from the dead album. Lzzy has a phenomenal voice, if you have a chance to see them live do it. Her voice is even more powerful live the recordings don't fully do her justice.
This one of the few collabs they've done with guest singers that I actually liked. Wolf Totem with Jacoby Shaddix is downright awful, but you've already reacted to the original, much better version. Black Thunder with Serj Tankian of SoD & DL of Bad Wolves is also good, as is This is Mongol with William DuVall of Alice in Chains. I'd generally stick with the originals though, because the collabs tend to change the tone of the songs.
IMMINENCE just dropped a new song called “Continuum. It’s the fifth installment of their storyline to the new album. It should be the last song out of the storyline and new album should be dropping any day now. Listen to the heavy with the slide of the violin with the heavy. heaviest song up to date. Thanks! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SE88noufabg.htmlsi=417iACKaoQ1pUWWs
