The language we all understand . . . music. Love how much respect these guys are getting these days. Can't wait to see them live when this covid crap ends.
My fave part is that you can see the energy these guys are playing off each other. Makes this performance all that more amazing. Love seeing Jacoby dancing with the other singer. My deepest apologies that I don't know the Hu's names.
I love that the English lyrics are a really good poetic interpretation of the Mongolian translation that scan well with Jacoby’s melody line. Tons of bands that do English translation/versions do it really badly even if the original is awesome (see: Rammstein’s Du Hast and Engel) but the Hu’s English crossovers consistently complement to the musicality of the original and help English speakers understand the lyrical themes without trying to exactly translate each line
I'm a pacifist, but if I was at this concert they'd get me so riled up that I would, well not burn down a city but do some very aggressive mild vandalism.
Ooh, sounds like me! LOL If you like visceral reactions like that, I have a.couple suggestions for you..."Morrigan" by Omnia, "Kala" from Danheim, and just check out Heilung. Get back to me, please. I love hearing what folks think of music! ✌😺
Say what you want about Papa Roach's music today... but they are amazing live. I've seen the RHCP, Rammstein, Metallica, Kiss, etc. Papa Roach performed the best live show I've ever seen.
This man is seriously underrated as a frontman. Incredible. And as for The Hu, incredible. To sound this good live is amazing. There are many bands who could learn a thing or two.
I am so pumped listening to this, I want to get up and conquer the world on a horseback, but I am stuck at home in a nationwide corona virus quarantine, so i watch youtube instead
Witajcie The Hu cudowny koncert na zywo super daliscie czadu pozdrawiam goraco duzo zdrowia wyrazy szacunku Weronika Sito Tychy Polska 👍👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙🤙🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
I discovered The Hu 2 months after this concert lol if only I picked up Jedi: Fallen Order a few months earlier I would've been there! Saw em' next time they played Hollywood though and it was totally worth the wait, so awesome live!
I think it's so cool that Jacoby only stood upfront when he was singing and then backed up as The HU was singing. I also love how they all rocked out towards the end.
You could always check them out on their own too and you owe it to yourself to hear the original songs besides just the remix only to truly appreciate the band and their music as it is when it is just the. It should not have to take someone singing in English just to listen to them and appreciate them in their own right. This is the coolest band on the planet and they deserve to be recognize d for their own talent in their own right they have earned their success.
hes bal it’s too bad you couldn’t have got to know them on their own. That’s how I discovered them. I was doing a research paper on Mongolia and Chinggis Khan’s role in modern Mongolian shamanism. This is alright but the HU Band on their own is an experience like no other.
Jacoby's English Lyrics sound like a paraphrasing of the English Translations I read of the Wolf Totem? "If the lions want war We gon' fight until the battle ends" = "If lions come, we'll tear up each other until the death" or "The lion is in a bloody battle to the deathI". Cool!
Dude, I'm a Total War fan, and after listening to this, I feel Creative Assembly should make Total War: Genghis, and in battle, the general should have an ability that when triggered adds 200% morale, -50% armor, 300% damage dealt......with THIS SONG PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND...........Man, that would be so FRIKKIN AWESOME!
I used to make fun of Jacoby for being one of those butt rock dude bros. But he is so talented and so full of love and passion. I humbly apologize for the crap I used to say about him. He is my brother and I love, respect and appreciate what he is doing and who he is.
