I'll add my vote for Yuve Yuve Yu. That was where I first encountered The Hu and it's still my favorite. You can find the lyrics online (both in Mongolian and translated to English). It's basically a lament, questioning why the young people are moving away from their heritage. It has such a strong, compelling melody. There's also a young man on The Voice who auditioned with throat singing. You can find the video on here by searching. Listening to him explain what throat singing is was really interesting. They uploaded both yuve yuve yu and wolf totem around the same time and so I think that's how most people were exposed I don't know how many watched wolf totem before yyy but those songs essentially put them on the map
It is Mongolian throat singing, some of there videos offer close caption, I use that to understand the songs. Yuve Yuve Yu is a great one check out. All there videos are cinematic.
The Hu is from Mongolia. There are versions of the video with English subtitles. Now, you should react to The Hu's cover of "Sad But True." Metallica actually re-tweeted it, which they almost never do.
These guys are a hoot to see live. They do a collaboration with Lzzy Hale from Halestorm called "Song of Woman" I think you'd like, but what do I know, lol!
They're definitely "on fire" in live performances. I've never seen such a hard working energetic band during live performances. In fact, they're better live than on their two albums.

The Hu are great. I do prefer Yuve Yuve Yu but what they do is really pretty darn good, even if we don't know the language. But Wolf Totem was my 'first' of theirs, so it's nostalgic now for me. ☺

I guess there are a very few other groups singing in their language with international success (the only other band I know doing this is the German industrial metal band Rammstein). Some interesting stuff I read. One of the bikers in a bandanna was the president of Mongolia at that time. Mongolia has never been conquered. 30% of the people are nomadic. It’s the most thinly populated country on earth (barring islands etc.) One line says it all “If you come with evil intentions we’ll give you a fight.” Well not all actually. The Hu are awesome. They have song a cover of Sad But True, by Metallica. They also got called in to make a song for one of the Star Wars games. It's called Sugaan Essuna. They haven't done a bad song. Mongolian throat singing, traditional Mongolian instruments and stunning videos. Plus they are just a bunch of young men doing what they love. Can't go wrong.
Pronounced (who). Someone said Hu translates to Human or people.. but I am not sure if that is true or not. The instruments are traditional Mongolian instruments. Morin Khuur, it is a typical Mongolian two-stringed instrument played with a bow. And the Shanz, Shudraga , a plucked three string instrument. Many of their video's have translations on the CC. Their first video hit in 2018 with Yuve Yuve Yu. It's a very good one, I recommend it. Also there is one called The Song of Women, ft Lzzy Hale, from Halestorm. It's also great. I suggest you to watch the video with the subtitles, you will enjoy the song even more. In the song they talk about warriors. I assure you that you will love it even more than you already did. hey man do not lie. The Hu members have never been resided in Turkey. They just had TV interview few days ago and they said they are with their family in Mongolia and very busy in working for Metaverse show.

No matter many times I hear this song, it ALWAYS brings up one question: in a 'hypothetical' fight, just EXACTLY who would win? The Mongolians at the HEIGHT of their strength/power (which if I'm not mistaken was under the leadership of the Great Ghengis Khan), or the Native American Indians at the HEIGHT of their strength/power (and unless I'm mistaken, there wasn't ANY Native American warleader/chief who united ALL the tribes into a single Nation/Entity/Force)? And before anyone says anything: YES, I know that these two Peoples lived in different Eras/Time-periods. However, their training/skills as Mounted Warriors were VERY similar. So again, just EXACTLY who would win in a 'hypothetical' battle between the Mongolians at the HEIGHT of their strength/power and the Native American tribes at the HEIGHT of their strength/power? I'd personally put my money on the Mongolians, simply because they were led by the Great Ghengis Khan. Now granted, I'm NOT Native American, so I personally would absolutely LOVE to hear what a Native American would think about a 'hypothetical' battle between these two Peoples (ESPECIALLY since any Native American would know the history of their People FAR better than I ever possibly could).
