I remember they used the same music underscore for the TV show fathers knows Best and also the TV show Dennis the menace this must been a very popular underscore back in the mid 1950s and early 60s
That’s some classic stock music. Capitol Hi-Q even. This was also used on the original Gumby episodes, the Ren and Stimpy Show and some Looney Tunes cartoons during this time.
Yup. And some cues were on other soundtracks including Top Cat, the Flintstones, and like you said, Looney Tunes. Also, did you know Looney Tunes came to television the same year as Huckleberry Hound?
@@serenityrain1158 Wow. Though it was mostly pre-1948. But it wouldn't take too long till the Looney Tunes would find fame on TV with the Bugs Bunny Show.

What about the music when The Bull is chasing Yogi and Boo Boo in “Big Bad Bully” in Yogi Bear? It’s also used in Huckleberry Hound and Pixie Dixie & Mr. Jinks.
10:38 was used in the opening of "Barbecue Huck" but also was used as the background of a commercial for Sealtest cottage cheese at about the same time in 1958-59
I'm very late for this but, imo this is some of the best music i've ever heared in my life. It's as light as a feather, as warm as the sun in the spring and as sweet as love. The soundtrack of my dreams. It really makes my day everytime i listen to it. Also the way it's played and recorded... it's perfect. So a great thank you to all the people who composed, played, recorded and preserved such beautiful music! I'm talking to you Serenity if you'll ever see this!
