One of the most difficult disney songs to sing and some countries failed so bad like Spain (for both castilian and catalan). Their singers are not able to hit the last note but I'd rather prefer other countries like Czech Republik that used the falsetto instead of changing the whole melody. My favorites (for the ending): Dutch (probably the best singer of them all), Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, latin spanish, norwegian, Polish, Russian and english.

but in the book of Victor Hugo Claude Frollo was a simple priest who lost his parents to the plague, inherited the mill (the one that he set on fire in the cartoon), taught and educated his young brother Jean, and also added a hunchback child when the parisians wanted to burn him , because of pity for Jean. and in 1482 he died when he laughed after the hanging of Agnessa when Quasimodo threw down (Esmeralda's real name, which the old nun gave her, after she had a child stolen from her and instead of Agnessa, gypsys threw a Quasimodo.After 2 years, his skeleton and the skeleton of Agnessa were found in hug . Amazing - this moment never gets old. Interesting that some of the translations seem to have cut in Paul Kandel (original vocalist) for the high D - all of these men have stunning voices but it’s considered an impossible male note for a reason! Even some of the vocalists with better tone (Dutch) have to take a big breath before the note, while others slide right into it with the previous breath, no breaks. Bravo to all of them! ETA example: Compare 0:34 to 4:53 and 5:19, etcetera. Anything Menken is co-listed on has the Kandel cut.

If you see Menken credited at any point, you will hear the Kandel cut. Why they drowned Kandel out with the bells and chorus and made it so that only dogs can hear that note in all its glory, I have no freaking clue, but good god. My ultimate hope regarding this scene is that one day we will hear Kandel's voice nailing that note in full splendor with the chorus, bells, and music removed. Somebody please please please remove everything but the raw vocals and give us BOND in full acapella. UPDATE: Never mind; it is MUCH clearer in the Hungarian version, despite the fade-out at the end. Though that may have been all Kandel was able to hold it for; I don't know because the EN version gets drowned. Regardless, it is still extremely impressive. Still want to hear it in full acapella though.

@dobbyfreebitch
@dobbyfreebitch 7 лет назад

Dutch is my own language, but I think by far Dutch is the best singer... his voice acting is also phenomenal. The voice is clear, fits the character and the notes are spot on. Greek one actually a great job but they mixed him in terribly, so you can barely hear he sung it great. Indonesian gets a sticker for trying. Polish and Slovak are actually pretty good too!

Arrepios everywhere!

Obrigado btw!!
