Yeah. They’re both very different characters in the book, but yeah he sees similarities mainly because she’s a district 12 female also, they both sing the same song too.

At the end of the book, Snow thinks to himself that Lucy Gray and her mockingbird can't hurt him again. The irony: Katniss is Lucy Gray's granddaughter, and Katniss is the Mockingjay🤭 The writing of the prequel is chef's kiss!
I think it's tragically poetic that Snow's success pretty much started and ended with a girl from District 12. It's like his family's fate is destined to be intertwined with District 12 no matter what.
I just wanna say Lucy came before Katniss it’s before Katniss and Peeta it’s snows life and how he became so evil I guess. So please don’t go around saying “OMG she copied Katniss’s bow😮”

I thought this movie was gonna be a little boring, but when I watched it everything changed it! I had so much empathy for Snow, and Lucy Grey!! IT'S MY NEW FAV MOVIE IT'S SO GOOD!
Gosh, I always come back and watch this edit on the daily. I love it so much. It helped me stay motivated to finish reading The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes because I found it so slow until the very end, so thank you. This edit is a true masterpiece. I’m so hyped for the new movie! Why can’t November come sooner!!
@@David.Rio_84 Yes! Although I feel like it was pretty slow at times I’m highly glad I read it. It took awhile because I didn’t find it that entertaining, until Part 3 but that was still a little hard to read. This book made me truly love Snow, however. The story was great and I’m very glad I read it even if it was pretty slowly paced.
Agree with you, the pacing was slow i had to put it down several times especially for me, in the "peacekeeper" part, i really like Lucy Gray but i think too many songs in there, is too much for me:"( The ending is a bit rushed imo, but overall good story! I like Coriolanus a bit at first but through the book i started to hate him and most of the time couldn't stand his inner thoughts😂, but at the same time i really appreciate Suzanne Collins for making this villain had capacity to feel like a 'human', so we could sympathized him and understand his way of thinking. I found myself even rooting for him, in many occassion. And slowly questioning myself. Can't wait to see it in theater!
@@whatsthisnonsense7842 Yes! Omg, there were so many songs. It was so hard to not skip over them all. I found Coriolanus a bit annoying but idk, made me really appreciate how he became the cruel villain that he is and now suddenly he’s one of my favorite characters lol!
@@citric_raccoon indeed! So far Coriolanus has been my favorite villains too. He is so complex as a character, which i found very refreshing and fascinating.
The Hunger Games series is a movie that when your finished you immediately want more. After i watched the new one i felt different and strangely more attentive to what was going on around me
@@moonlightjk2835 ya it was crazy. I knew something had to happen though because he wasn’t in the “right spot” shall we say for the last 20 or so pages and they needed to do final character development stuff to really make him Snow.

Люси невероятный персонаж, даже посмотрев фильм 2 раза, мне всё ещё мало сцен с ней. Китнисс моя любимица, но после выхода 5 части вся её смелость, харизма и ум просто тухнут по сравнению с Люси, которая действительно умна и хитра, словно змея. Китнисс - это Гриффиндор, Люси и Сноу, конечно, Слизерин. Дерзкие, играющие на публику, нахальные, самолюбивые, амбициозные.
It’s crazy because in the movie Snow seems more like he is doing what he does for Lucy Gray, but I’m now reading the book and notice that he does it way more for himself and the money, like he’s way more selfish.

Then, he decides to kill Lucy, then he teamed up with the mayor, and he kicked his sister out for not being too pretty enough, then that’s when years later that’s when Katiness exists and lost her sister, her bf, her friends along the way, has trauma. Peeta lost his memories and tried to kill Katiness and he will never remember.
i enjoyed this movie, because most of the movie was about Snow and how everything he experiences in this movie helps shape who he is in the first 3 books
I really like how Lucy does the same bow that Katness does. It’s one of the many reasons why katness reminds snow of Lucy. Another reason is that the plant that Lucy talks about is called katness
I still support the theory that tells that Snow was Katniss and Prim's grandfather and that Lucy was their grandmother Prim looks exactly alike to Snow's granddaughter that showed up in Catching fire
I really hope one day we learn the real fate of Lucy Gray............I like to imagine she survived in the woods and managed to live her life somewhat peacefully in the wilds or something.
