You can press a book with tape, but the presser really needs to know what they're doing - so find someone who is experienced. The book needs to be pressed at a lower temperature and done over a longer period of time. One issue I've seen with some types of tape is that the heat darkens the glue...so you end up with a book that's flatter, but the tape stands out more (arguably off-setting the eye-appeal gains that you get from pressing).

@@NextGenCollector I would wait for a great deal on one with the tatz. Lean on your contacts and look out for it at local shows. You could get one without them and then have a trusted presser marry the tatz to the book (tatz are inserted in a few other books). That's a risk. CGC is looking out for any marrying of the tatz.
