This drama tells the story of Chen Changping, an undercover drug police officer, who lurks beside Tan Xiaoshan's only son Tan Zilong in order to capture the drug lord Tan Xiaoshan's criminal gang. He repeatedly saves Tan Zilong's life and gains Tan Zilong's trust. Chen Changping saves Xiaomei and her son, whose family was destroyed by drug dealers. Chen Changping relies on Xiaomei to communicate with Li Zhengbin. In the eyes of others, Chen Changping and Xiaomei look like a couple. After the incident, Chen Changping notified Xiaomei to leave as soon as possible, but was discovered by Tan Xiaoshan. Tan Xiaoshan held Xiaomei and Mingming hostage and cut off the possibility of contacting Li Zhengbin. Chen Changping can only go all out and use the unique code that he had set with the sacrificed police officer Yu Zhenhai to communicate with Li Zhengbin.
