Thanks for the run through. You may like to know that there is a medium sized Ferocactus near the beginning. The Agave parryi var. truncata look great, next to the Golden Barrels and towards the end, you can see the slightly greener barrels, on the right hand side of the bed, are called Echinocactus ingens or otherwise by the common name Biznaga Gigante, in Mexico. They are very close relatives, but the flowers don't stand out as much as the Golden Barrels do, in this video. That is a great view!
I would love to live somewhere where cactus could grow naturally in the garden. We had 7 or 8 weeks of great hot weather recently in the UK but it clouded over a couple of weeks ago and I'm wondering if that was summer for this year. Fingers crossed.
Muy hermosos los cactus y suculentas. Toda una belleza, desgraciadamente, muy amenazados. Y muchos en peligro de extinción. Ayudemos difundiendo la cultura de conservación.
