Broken bricks can be mixed with cement to construct the base and sides of the fire pit, the floor and outer sidewalks around the pit sitting area, the barbecue grill and sidewalks leading to Marwa's house and watch tower. Sidewalks should be elevated above grass to provide dry areas to walk on when the ground is saturated with water. Provide ways to anchor loose chairs to the pit structure to keep strong winds from knocking them around when no one is around to put them in an indoor storage building. The compound needs a good storage building like the one at Mayuguno's compound to secure outdoor furniture and garden tools.
Love the fire pit idea. Will come in handy on cold nights to keep folks warm while socializing outdoors. Should also have a heavy cover to be protected from rain and convert pit into a table when no fire is lit in it. Your benches, sidewalks, fire pit, and a separate covered large barbeque grill outside of the area with the fire pit, framed by two different tile covered counter spaces, one with a sink, small water dispenser and chopping board for food preparation and the other side for food already cooked along with plates, cups, snacks, and another small water dispenser to wash and dry hands before and after eating. Benches should have wide seating areas to accommodate padded cushions for back support when seated. Where one sits should also allow space for vinyl cushions that are easy to clean for one to sit on. Bench height must allow for the average person's feetnto touch the paved ground while seated. They appear to be too high right now without cushions.
Like the idea of a thigh high fire pit . Are you planning to use block or brick round or square in any case consider using d10 or d12 rod, finger width apart and close fit inside the pit as a raised fire grate . In doing so that the fire can create convection. In order to create convection the 1st course needs gaps between some of them for fresh air to flow inside under the fire grate. Maybe Duke can do it. Just an idea🤔
Please Engineer tell Marwa to stop spending so much money in paying for marble countertops with a money for granite countertops,marble brakes easy and stained easily by oil it panetrate and create nasty permanent brown stains my husband said the money it's too much for the whole work my husband is fitting for celebrities and big companies he is working for the company for many years those guys are knocking him he knows more about any stone when comes to fitting, he says he must use Zimbabwe Black Marble countertops,he must search for the companies before he buys anything from a person who comes to him because once the see the house they charge him 3 time the normal price im here in South Africa if my bubby is there he would have help him in which things he can buy .
