I believe she wanted equality and she wanted to rule the three realms on her own without masters but then she’ll end up being a tyrant as we have seen the process she had gone through to achieve her goal. Both Xuan Yi and Wu huan had those goals but then the means were bad. At the end, all the things they did were in vain because if ever they succeeded in their mission, they will end up being the masters instead 😂

It's not just a stone. Haven't you seen those "stones" in dramas that come alive if anyone trys to go near what they are protecting? It's the same thing here, but in this case if a demon or an immortal crosses the border he will come alive
