Vortex or Mediator?

A few points. Point 1: According to the other members in the band, Vlad has been the main composer for quite some time, including the songs on this new LP. Point 2: Vlad is a classically trained pianist. Point 3: He is also a very good guitarist..Poiint 4: Vlad writes mainly on guitar. Point 5: Vlad is self-taught on drums. Point 6: Vlad joined in 2016. Point 7: Jinjjer started blowing up in 2016. Point 8: Vlad.

"Has Tatiana ever sounded this good?" Honestly, I don't think so. She's absolutely insane in these two tracks, and also in their full live show that they released recently. Both her cleans and her screams got even better. Also love the fact that she did both a GO and a BLEGH This song is overwhelming, but in the best way. Had my issues with about half of the tracks on Macro as well, but this one is shaping up to be a masterpiece.

Vortex and Mediator have me so hyped for this CD.. If it's all this good, this is an Album of the Year candidate for me.

I think this may be the best song they've ever written. Vortex is a banger but I prefer this one.

Two great new songs, cannot say I prefer either over Retrospection or Home Back from Macro. I did though not care much for Noah but other then that loved Macro.

for now I still prefer vortex, but this song keeps sounding better and better every time I listen to it so it may be soon for it to overtake vortex

Looking at the lyrics you can see that the two parts of the song are idealism and realism. When Tatiana has her puffy hairstyle and sings clean, she's singing about her ideals of what the world could be like (as she's said, her younger self). Then, as she breaks into growls and the song structure shifts to death metal, it's facing the reality that the world is not perfect and people often suck. She says, "Wish I could catch God by the beard and drag him to the dirty streets to show him what is going on." But the song ends on a hopeful note. We're not going to give up but "turn our back on this" and get to work, on the path to freedom. That's what "The Mediator" is--the mediator between the ideal and reality.

It took me a few time to listen to this song to figure out if I liked it I couldn’t fallow the music

I liked this song a lot but, I was hoping they would've slowed the song down a little bit to have a more impactful breakdown to the song..

There was a blegh.

I think my one con with this track, and it's kind of nit-picky, was that little like rap/hip-hop line right in the middle of the song. Idk, it just felt out of place, and I generally don't enjoy that when it comes to metal, hence why I am not a fan of nu-metal.
