The Hypixel Skyblock Experience in 2024 (And When To Return)

i was thinking about coming back to skyblock after lik 2 years, but watching this video reminded me how tedious the grind gets and shit the economy is. a good video idea would be a skyblock guide for returning players or beginners.

I started playing hypixel skyblock 2 weeks ago and my biggest disappointment was that crafting was really buggy. Sometimes I have to click on the same item 4 times for it to finally move into the neccesary spot in crafting table. The same goes for every chest-like GUI: main menu, shops and so on... It's probably because I have a high EU ping (but I feel like the servers often can't process these things successfully and end up rolling you back) Other than that, the mode is pretty good and every day I feel less and less overwhelmed by all the stuff it has. Good video by the way.

Simple: once you get everything, (if you ever do), then: 1: flex on ur friends, 2: donate stuff to noobs or 3: get together a friend group (if you have one) and do some combat related tasks for fun. Like I’m sure that master mode 7 or even floor 7 would always be more fun when you aren’t grinding for a handle or something, and you could try to do self imposed challenges with your friends, such as who can solo (insert slayer or dungeon floor here). Kuudra is also a more late game entertainment option. You can do all this while waiting for the next update, as a break from sweating everything for a bit until the next update comes out where you grind everything to completion again. This lecture is assuming a few things: 1 you somehow have everything possible unlocked, to the point where your money is just way too high and your networth is like 1 trillion, you have all the rare dyed armors (getting the old one’s are way to hard, limited edition dyed armor is not possible without glitches from updates, and unless u glitch hunt, u should probably just do the official way of buying the bit’s shop dyes, and or buying the rare RNG drop dyes from the ah.) 2: you have friends to actually do casual combat tasks, where you could try to do challenges such as 1 terminator m7, or no armor f7, or speedrunning dungeons or slayers, playing where if one person messes up a puzzle such as blaze or tic tax toe, you can all just laugh it off, 3: they don’t release too many big updates where you have to grind for completion, as the no new updates period is kinda a break where you may play casually and not grinding 24/7, and 4: hytale doesn’t release for the next 2-3 business days.

Its bound to fail at this point, inflation is so high that its driving new players away, it takes so long for mediocre bonuses it just becomes too boring, to even think about doing fun things like kuudra or mm, you need hundreds if not thousands of hours, memorize routes for secrets that have like 50 different rooms, and the main reason I think its gonna fail is just the way that the game is controlled by the no lives, every update has to accommodate them, making it magnitudes harder for causual players like myself but they can get it finished in a weekend, and the ratting and macroing problem just making the game suck in general, nobody can realistically get the fun items or even decent items without spending 15 hours preparing for and then hundreds more mining glass blocks.

This is insane, 2 summers ago i broke my arm and started playing minecraft bcus i said "minecraft dorsnt require much hanf movement right?" Then played 300 hours, lost intrest, couple months ago got back into the grind. Its litterly what happend to you just a little different

STAY AWAY FROM HYPIXEL AT ALL COST its impossible to get alot of views on a new channel in that game and after f7 the grind becomes alot more tedious dont be like me Stay away from this game the admins realese updates like 2x farming drops to inflate the economy and cause more players to buy gems cus players are more tempted to buy gems when a booster cookie is 8m and not 3m
