After twenty-one years of #teachingpiano, I’ve observed how overwhelmed #pianostudents can become by trying to learn to #readmusic. I’ve created two new books, “The I Can Learn Music Books: Volumes 1 & 2,” designed to be used by #pianoteachers as #supplementalbooks, in conjunction with the students’ #methodbooks.
These books introduce #notereading in a slow-paced, individualized approach, intended to be less overwhelming and also to help the students absorb learning one note at a time before moving to the next one.
I’ve been thrilled at my students’ #progress and have even had four-year-olds learning to read the #musicstaff! If you decide to use them in your studio, I’d love to answer any questions you might have.
